It's a full 2h mix I recorded at a party not too long ago. I played very different vibes in the Latin, Tribal, Disco and Tech House genres and I think the mix came out pretty dynamic and unpredictable in a way. Let me know what you think of this mixing style! 🙌

Welcome to BED ROOM Radio. A new weekly show that will explore all that is underground electronic music with yours truly, BARLOW.

And I'm so so so excited to be able to kick this new project off with a very special set, my debut at the legendary Pacha in Ibiza, where I was ever so fortunate to play in the Funky Room hosted by Namaste for the party of Flower Power.

This episode will feature the first hour of that set, which was a mixture of tribal, funky and house classic vibes. A really high energy set! (as you'll hear from the crowd). 

I was also playing out with Traktor and my own equipment for the very first time, so it was a great opportunity for me to be able to display what I've been learning these past 8 months, since making the switch over from CDJs and Rekordbox.

Rob Vice is an exciting producer from Estonia who found his passion in South American rhythms and who lends a lot of inspiration from Funk and Disco genres. Rob started out his musical journey in 2013 but in a very fast-paced world of Drum&Bass. What initially started out as a hobby progressed quickly into a desire to bring something fresh to the scene. 

In 2020, Rob finally started professionally running his artist project and being laser-focused on the genres of House and Tech House. His music is often characterized by groovy basslines, distinct percussion and high energy rhythms – a killer combination to make any dancefloor shake. A key component to his sound is a memorable and upbeat melodic hook that is often composed of natural instruments - such as the timeless piano, trumpet and guitar. 

Rob also runs his monthly Vice City radio show over at Data Transmission Radio where he cleverly blends Latin, Tribal and Tech House sounds to create a captivating groove that draws influences from all over the world. With his unmistakable focus on creating a hypnotizing groove, you can expect to be swaying in a club to the sounds of Rob Vice.
