Me and Tony recorded this many moons ago.
I've always had a problem with lyrics and i distinctly remember Tony studiously bent over the table scribbling away for about an hour and every so often mumbling to himself to see if the words would fit.
I remember we recorded it in one session,we wanted it to sound authentic like a late 50s sound.
So we ran his voice through an old guitar fuzz box,and the guitar was played with no frills.
We also,to add authenticity to it,we sampled the crackle from an old guns and roses LP i think.the crackle can be heard throughout the track
This track is dedicated to the memory Tony Sayers.
Long live Rock and Roll Tony.

A piece of music by Rob Woodland,Nigel Ball and John Saunders.
This one has a very long history.originally the first part was written by John Saunders many many many years ago.
When he was about 15/16 i believe.
I've been playing this over the years when i'm bored,bit of a mantra really.
A few months ago i came up with another two sections which i thought would sound great with it,i had a melody,words lyrics were shaping up and had a singer,Jax Perry in mind to sing it.
Started recording in November when my fellow artist Nigel Ball tells me he's off on a coast to coast tour with Bex Marshall.
Next thing Jax can't sing it as her throat is a bit dickie.
We came back to it this month and these sounds are the result.
We've done two versions,one with Udu and chums talking through it and one instrumental.
We will revisit it in future and lay down a vocal on it.
So there you go!
