Yamaha TX16W on sampler duty with DigiTech DSP256XL II for the effects. (the vocals manage to fit on two floppies but got corrupted hence the 'par-parties')
Alesis S4+ doing most things, with the Kawai GMega LX and E-Mu Proteus 2000 doing the rest. And then the piano at the end is Alesis NanoPiano.
Two Samson PL1602's on mixing duty, which have since gone for repairs due to the noise buildup.

30 Domcaster St was composed with an obscure midi module from around 89-90 called the Yamaha DOM-30, which was kindly gifted to myself by dusthillresident. I wanted to compose something atmospheric and summery, it was lots of fun!

This track was composed in Sekaiju with the Roland SC-D70. It started as a kind of groovy italo disco track with the pulsing bass, mostly as a test figuring out all of the CCs and effect sysexes for echo and reverb. It was all quite the learning experience, I had fun! 
When I came back to my initial sketch a few weeks later, I wasn't particularly happy with it as it felt a disjointed jumble of ideas. I decided to change the key manually from minor to major and it felt so much more inspiring, keeping some segments in minor made it flow so much better too. Overall I'm proud of what I did, check out the rest of the album here.

This song was composed in Sekaiju using my Yamaha TX16W sampler, utilising my Digitech DSP 256XLII and circuitbent Fostex DE1 effects units, then multitrack recorded into Cakewalk.
My bestie dusthillresident who is also on this album helped figure out some of the harmony and gave me useful feedback, without her it wouldn't be finished!

This was a pretty difficult challenge; I’m not used to using the TG77, but it was a great chance to learn and get familiar with how it works.
For the drums, I converted a DX7 drum preset, and through trial and error was able to edit it. Once I saw a diagram of the operators, it was simple to see how each one interacts with one another, which gave me an easier time.
Otherwise, the other voices come from the preset patches, DX7 conversions and a couple of custom ones

The recording is double tracked (FM drums recorded seperately and then layered on top) to prevent note latency, however all of the effects were onboard. The TG77's dual effects section means you can get quite a lot out of it!

I did the sound design and composed the music for this fun game. I have a lot of respect for Polyducks for developing Bard and the directions that he gave to help make this shine. I have to also thank Rhoq and retroshark for their feedback as well as the great art that they made for this game.
