I wrote this as a love song to my child. I always used to hate Christmas growing up because it was always riddled with disappointments like family feuds or loss or just absence from the ones I wanted to be with the most. Holidays used to bring me so much sorrow, but when I had my son all of a sudden I got to see it from a new perspective and instead of focusing on what I didnt get to experience I was able to give to him what I'd wish I'd gotten. Now I actually enjoy this holiday and I finally understand what the spirit is all about. So this is my love to song to him.
