Great times were had at Rebellion der Träumer’s Renate Easter party!

It was an absolute pleasure to play 18:00-21:00 in the Red Room to such excellent party people. Rebellion events have long been a favourite of mine, and this night was yet another one to add to the amazing memories :) 

 It’s not so often that you'd hear this particular flavour of music play at this venue or party. But I really wanted to bring something different. It truly fuelled the joy in my heart to see the crowd’s enthusiasm and positive energy, getting so playful and loose on that dancefloor with me! Thanking you!

With a huuuge smile on my face: I say thank you to the Bucht Der Träumer* ravers who got absolutely wild with me in the Stroboklo ravecave at 6:00-8:00 Sunday morning - we made magic!  It was such a great feeling to blast off and get to that ridiculous level of hype together :’)   

I am a little lost for words writing this reflection, and so I'll refer to the Hunter S. Thompson quote I used in my closing track. For me, it speaks directly to the feeling of festival magic.. The thrill, wonder, and timelessness of the parallel universe you find yourself in - with opportunity for joy and adventure and connection around every corner.   

”There was madness in any direction. There was madness - you could strike sparks anywhere. There was a fantastic universal sense that whatever we were doing was right, that we were winning. We were riding the crest of a high and beautiful wave - the kind of peak that never comes again. It was a very special time and place to be a part of. No explanation, no mix of words or music or memories can touch that sense of knowing that you were there and alive in that corner of time and the world. Whatever it meant."

Woah! It was a dream come true - and a peak pleasure - to hype up the Acidbogen ravetrain on 08.10.23 and steer it through 3 special Sunday morning hours! 

Giving thanks and gratitude to all the cats who brought such great, ecstatic & loving energy to the floor, and the Kater crew for the invite & sweet support throughout - without hesitation I can say it was truly an awesome gig! ❤️‍🔥

So excited to share this set I unleashed on the main floor of Rebellion der Träumer's Pfingstrave in Festsaal Kreuzberg, 19.05.24 😄

With the DJ booth positioned in the centre of the dancefloor, it was exhilarating to be surrounded 360° by such a huge crowd (and soundsystem!). What powerful, happy energy in that room - thanks everyone for all the fun we created :)

Thank you Bucht Der Träumer* ravers and crew for the awesomeness shared at 1:30AM-4:00AM, Saturday morning at Pearlopolis! 

It was a total thrill to lead the dancefloor in different directions using samples of hip hop, disco, dancehall, nostalgic pop, and even rock to create variation and surprise - all while keeping that steady tech-house groove :)  

Bucht Der Träumer in English means "Bay of Dreamers" and it really is where my dreams have come true. So thank you!
