When The Wind Blows is a song about nuclear war which I recently wrote in an attempt to soften my nerves surrounding such a concept. It was also inspired by the Raymond Briggs film with the same title. The film is utterly beautiful and manages to hold just the right amount of bliss, banality and brutality, which I've strived to achieve here in my song.
