Poetry Song (Ex-Trendy)

A group sound project by the participants of Sound Vent workshop convened by Matte Rochford. The workshop was held during the Lover Carer exhibition curated by Jacqueline Olivetti at Peacock Gallery, Auburn Botanic Gardens, November 2010. The workshop participants/creators of the piece were: Erin Riley, Alana Hunt, Alissar Chidiac, Nur Alam, Charlotte Farrell, Sri Kanthadas, Jacqueline Olivetti and Matte Rochford.

Lover-Carer

At the RePresenting Colyton project, participants attended a series of workshops which culminated in a group exhibition and installation at the Colyton Neigbourhood Centre. The soundscape project involved venturing \into the parks and capturing the sounds we heard with our phones and mp3 players. We then decided how to edit and arrange the sounds to make this soundscape called: "I Love to be Random".

This collaborative sound piece was developed and recorded at the 'Sound Vent' workshop at Peacock Gallery in Auburn Botanic Gardens (Sydney, Australia).  The workshop formed part of the Lover Carer exhibiton (NOV-DEC 2010), curated by Jacqueline Olivetti and assisted by Auburn Council.  Present at the workshop were Erin, Charlotte, Nur, Alana, Alissar, Sri, Jacqueline and Matte.  They are the eight people who made this work.
