MISS KITTY
A young black woman hits the Club Scene in Memphis TN in post WW II / 1946.
The neon lights on Beale street shine brightly...she turned 21 recently and feels free going out alone to take in the many "jumpin" clubs that line Beale st.  Soulful musicians, men and woman called Blues Shouters took the spotlight on smoky stages. They were dressed to the nines.  These Blues Shouters coined the phrase "Rock and Roll" and Miss Kitty was drawn to it. "Hey Miss Kitty!" the men would shout as she strutted her stuff, "Throw me a bone!"
