The idea for this song came to me immediately after Tyler Clementi's suicide &amp; this is dedicated to all of the innocent lives that have been lost to bullying. When Adam Shenk &amp; I sing "I" we are singing from the perspective of those who are being bullied. This song is dedicated to all the innocent lives that have been lost to bullying &amp; to the teachers &amp; schools that turned a blind eye. (This is just a rough acoustic version. Audrey Rockefeller is a New York based artist and musician. Rockefeller is a true renaissance woman who is constantly immersing herself in a wide range of endeavors including, music, in all its forms/stages, photography, including photo editing/retouching, graphic design and sound creation and design for film/TV. 

Rockefeller is a trained musician, and a graduate of the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. Rockefeller writes, sings, performs and produces her music which is considered top 40's singer/songwriter pop. 
Infectious is an understatement, her songs will stay with you, in a good way, they'll be in your head and you'll find yourself singing them when alone. Audrey's musical collaborations include working with, Adam Shenk, Brendan Velasquez, Jonathan Luke and Dance icon Ernest Kohl. You can hear some of her work on their albums. When it comes to collaborations, once again, Audrey shines. She's done everything from (co)producing, programing, arranging, (co)writing, mixing and laying down backup vocals.  

Scoring to visuals comes as second nature to this "diva," so when she was approached by writer/director/producer Magda Magdalena to design, engineer, edit, mix and master the sound for her independent film "STL," she was all in. Although she'd never worked on a feature film, she was confident in her abilities and dove in head first. Of the experience Rockefeller said, "It was the hardest thing I've ever done. So much work goes into a film, and when it was finished I felt like I had recorded an entire album. I'm so happy I did it and it's one of my greatest accomplishments and the experience I gained is invaluable. Prior to beginning the film I was working on a song entitled, 'No City Life.' After playing it for [the director] she absolutely fell in love with it and asked if she could you use it in the film. I was ecstatic!  'No City Life' can be heard at the very end of the film and for the duration of the credits. In the past Rockefeller has created original music for a number of national TV commercials including, Gillette and Waterman Pens.

Being a struggling artist in New York isn't easy, so Audrey has been shrewdly using all of her talents. Although she's always enjoyed snapping pictures, she stepped it up by purchasing a professional grade Canon camera and a slew of much needed accessories. With a goal in mind, she began going to various night life events, clubs etc, taking pictures of fabulous New York people. Audrey would go to clubs, take pictures of people and hand out her business cards. "I was just trying to get my name out, show 'em what I could do." Rockefeller continued to say, "I knew people would love my pictures because I love making people look beautiful. It's about bringing out the inner beauty. I was sure my concept/style, bright expressive colors, uncommon angles and the ability to perfect the pictures in post would win them over. It worked! I posted all the photos on a Facebook fan page and after a while people began hiring me for different projects. The hard work and determination is slowly paying off and now I have a weekly nightlife gig. I'm proud of myself for this." You can catch Rockefeller & RA at every Tuesday night from 10pm-4am for the 'RA & The Wolf Party' at Le Souk Harem, in NYC.
