Primal Code is the collaboration of two producers from Milano, Gabriele and Davide. Their sound search is characterized by natural soundscape recordings, hypnotic grooves and nostalgic atmospheres. Their first official release inaugurated a new Hypnus Records Series, titled Serum out on 4th November (hypnus.bandcamp.com/album/eteru). In this podcast you will find some of the tracks that have influenced their creative process and sound identity, ranging from movies soundtrack, to records of deep-techno scene they love.

Awareness XXVI: Primal Code

Bermuda is a disco project of me and Kimmo Oksanen from Future Beat Investigators.
Four years ago we started to produce these kinds of electronic disco tracks in the vein of Moroder, Faltermeyer and such.
All the Bermuda tracks are made with using only old synths like Jupiter-8, Mini Moog, Pro-1 etc.
No soft synths.
Protools was only used to record the stuff in for mixing.

This is actually the only released Bermuda track so far. I guess we were a bit ahead of our time back then.
There is more to come.
