Argentinean DJ and producer Emi Galvin has consistently defied expectations throughout his much-lauded decade-long career. Through the success of early tracks like 2016's ‘Taking Over’ and ‘Universe’, the Buenos Aires resident emerged into one of the progressive scene’s most promising talents. A rich musical background with time spent in rock bands playing guitar and singing gave Emi’s electronic compositions a measurable creative edge. This elusive sound did not go unnoticed as he quickly earned the praise of genre tastemakers Cid Inc, Eelke Kleijn, Guy J, Guy Mantzur, Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren; while landing career defining releases via Balance, Sudbeat and The Soundgarden. Also an accomplished DJ, Emi’s long undulating sets have been applauded for their impeccable track selection and exquisite programming. As one of Argentina’s most in demand DJs, Emi has travelled the world, delighting crowds in Egypt, Greece, Hungary, Malta, Netherlands, Romania, Russia, Spain and more. A recent highlight in the Argentine’s sets has been his unofficial remix of Massive Attack’s ‘Girl I Love You.’ Released in 2010 as part of the band’s ‘Heligoland’ album, the song would go on to become one of the LP’s most recognizable tracks, racking up more than ten million plays on Spotify in the process. Emi’s version has seen considerable live play in recent months, with Guy J, Guy Mantzur, Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Sebastien Leger and more all airing the remix across their sets. Agustín Lupidi is an Argentinian DJ and producer from Villa María, Córdoba.
He has released his productions on labels such as Onedotsixtwo, Balkan Connection and Genesis Music just to name a few.

His main influences are Guy J, Henry Saiz, Khen and Hernán Cattaneo. Also got inspiration from Daft Punk, Depeche Mode, Gustavo Cerati, Alberto Spinetta, Tame Impala, Coldplay and various Argentine artists from the underground scene.

His music has received the support of his references Nick Warren and Hernan Cattaneo.
Agustin shared booth with artists like Stas Drive, Li-Polymer, Interaxxis, Alejo Gonzalez, Guhus, Berni Turletti, Fernando Ferreyra, Santiago Teillagorry, Luis Bondio, Ezequiel Arias, Artfaq, among others.

The latest installment of our free download series welcomes Who Else & ZAC. Hailing from Argentina and Brazil respectively, the occasional studio partners have collaborated on EPs for Dear Deer Black and Dear Deer White, while their solo efforts have found a home on Beat Boutique, Get Physical, Balance and Warung Recordings. Last year the duo took to reworking Empire Of The Sun’s hugely popular ‘We Are The People’. Their unique amalgamation of progressive house and techno remodelled the track into one of the years most sought after bootlegs. Pete Tong was one of the first to chime in with support, playing the track on BBC Radio 1, while the much-loved Swiss duo Adriatique also became steadfast supporters, with months of play in their global sets. Now after countless requests we’re pleased to offer the track as exclusive free download. We hope you enjoy it.

This is a challenging time for everyone but I want to try to focus on the positives. Regardless of race, gender or age we are all being impacted by this Pandemic. Perhaps it can be a time where we break down some barriers and work together on a higher level to overcome this hardship. 

I think it is our job as musicians to keep making music and attempt to provide hope and positivity. One song can completely change a person’s outlook on life and we need that more than ever now.
