About:
After a couple lineup changes since YBKS, we stumbled upon Tyrone MacNeil somewhere between Flat Bay and Robinsons. Tyrone brought something new and fresh to the picture and we got to work on a new album.
Recorded at Stagehouse with Chris Kirby (producer) and Spencer Crewe (engineer). At some point in the 2013-2014 timeframe Chris Kirby became like a musical big brother to us. We had such a positve experience making this record with him and Spencer. Kudos to Scott Hammond as well for putting on the final touches. 2014 was by far the busiest and best year we had as a band. We were on top of the world when we recorded this.

Casey was a song I wanted to write for anyone who's going through rough times in their life. I wanted it to be as fun and upbeat as possible. We may have overdone it on the synths, but you live and learn!

We hired our good pal Jeff O'Leary to engineer this one. Recorded it all in the summer of 2011 in Kenney's basement. I still think the cover art is fantastic. This was the first time we tried to play to a metronome ever, and boy can you tell in some parts of the record. Some of the tracks are some of our best written songs, and some are the worst! I suppose every album is like that though in a way.

Catch Me If you Can was one of the first songs we all contributed on together as a band. I think that made it one of the most fun songs to play live for everyone (until Bryce joined the band and we stopped playing it because he still can't stand this song). Guest vocals by Walter Puddester.

Lost at Sea was actually probably the first(?) song that Paul ever wrote for RRS. I think it was originally written for (or as a tribute) to the Corner Brook punk band The Embarrassments, who inspired and encouraged us to pursue music as long as we could.  It was always our last song we played live, so it only made sense to re-record it.

We made a lot of mistakes (like going into a studio totally unprepared), and learned a hell of a lot about recording, business, and the music industry. Recorded in one of the snowiest February's I can remember. I'm still really proud of this album.

Best Kept Secret was a guitar riff that Bryce originally had written, and Paul wrote a verse/chorus over it. The rest was written with Ward in the studio. I can't comment much on it because I broke my foot and wasn't there for the session.

East Coast calling is a song Bryce and I wrote together. It's a tribute to a friend of mine who died way too young in a car accident. We could never pull off the chugs in the chorus.

This is another one we re-recorded for an album. It was written immediately after the self titled EP. This was our kickass anthem of a song that we absolutely played to death.

Our first ever single! Kenney bought some new gizmo (no idea what it was now), and came up with the intro riff, to which Paul put the rest of the song over. It was the first song we ever had on the radio, which is a moment none of us will soon forget.
