3. Pandoras golden heebies jeebies / The Association
"This underrated 60`s band had some of the greatest harmonies of its era and also had a great knack at writing pop songs. This however is not one of them. This is one of the most powerful psychedelic songs ever."

4. Inner space : sound of the deep / Sven Libaek
"Norway`s lost treasure. Not even well known here. He wrote film music in the US for Hanna-Barbara and lots of nature films."

5. Mr Songbird / The Kinks
"One of my favorite Kinks songs. It is an outtake from their masterpiece ’We are the Village Green Preservation society’. Ray Davies sounds a bit like Paul McCartney on his vocals."

6. Jungfrau - Virgo R1 / Karl Heinz Stockhausen
"When i first heard this track, i did feel a strange feeling of Deja vu. It is very lovely and melancholic with its cluckenspiel. I did get permission from the composer to do a version of this and i am hoping to do a version this year with an orchestra."

7. Mr Farmer / The Seeds
"The Seeds were such a great band. If there ever was a pre punk band, The Seeds were it. Making really cool music and grooves with their limited musical skills. Sky Saxon was a beautiful frontman who wrote quite strange lyrics at times. We are going to contribute a song to a tribute album for Sky."

8. Pick it up / Freelovebabies
"This song is by Will Caruthers former bassplayer in Spacemen 3. It really blew me away how melodic his songs are, perhaps even surpassing his former peers. This song is the most beautiful on the album. Really cool vibe and great singing."

10. Heimat klange / Kraftwerk
"This is one of Kraftwerks earlier songs from Ralf und Florian. I love Kraftwerk, but i prefer their earlier works. This one feature serene flute with lots of delay from Florian Schneider. They create something that has a very feeling of HOME."

"AP Special is my favorite tune by Augustus Pablo. Wonderful trippy production."

12. Hungarian sketches : an evening in the village / Bela Bartok
"This is so beautiful. Cannot be described in words."

13. Big black car / Big Star
"Favorite Big star song. This is a wonderful song about escapism and Big, black car is a great metaphor for that. The track is from their best album (though it was not released before much later) Sister/lovers. The feeling is so mellow you just want to flow away with the song."

"Sonic Boom at his best. Perfect production of a dream."

15. ’Till the following night / Screaming Lord Sutch
"Screaming Lord Sutch is the original Alice Cooper. He was singing horror rock in the early 60`s and dressed as an undertaker, scaring the teenie crowd. This song is produced by legendary producer Joe Meek. Mr Meek recorded the intro of the song on a graveyard late at night, which definitely sets the chilling tone for the song before the blood curling scream that kicks it all down with the meanest groove ever."

16. Deluxe (immer wieder) / Harmonia
"This is one of my favorite Krautrock tracks (sorry germans, you are stuck with the term). Great motorik groove and beautiful, blissed out guitar by Michael Rother."

PODCAST "NO : The street tape"

1. COLIN TOWNS "THE MEDIUM" 1983
La problématisation du sujet est une étape essentielle dans l’introduction de la street tape. Se souvenir est l’une des conditions pour élaborer une suite logique de morceaux mais qui, dans tous les cas restera générique. Bref, "THE MEDIUM" est une introduction appropriée pour ce podcast car il résume plutôt bien ses différents aspects. Ce morceaux est issu d’une librairie sonore. J’ai aussi samplé la boucle principale pour le morceau "Díagone".

2. WHITE NOISE "BLACK MASS : ELECTRIC STORM IN HELL" (skit) 1969 
1968 ne manque certes pas d’albums cultes et bizarres. L’année psychédélique et révolutionnaire fut en effet prolixe en musique azimutée et An Electric Storm de White Noise fait certainement partie du peloton de tête en la matière.

3. COLETTE MAGNY "LA PANADE" 1975
Par son allure, son style, ses textes rebelles et ses engagements, Colette Magny est un personnage singulier de la chanson contemporaine. Elle est une de mes influences principales. Je ne pouvais faire l’impasse. Ce morceau intègre toutes les facettes qui me plaisent dans la musique. Tantôt rugueux, déstructuré, mélancolique, bruitiste et sans apaisement dans la force de ses textes, "La Panade" est un chef-d’oeuvre.

4. ARMANDO PIAZZA "THE HOUSE ON THE HILL" 1972
On en sait très peu sur Armando Piazza si ce n’est que c’était un songwriter résidant à Naples. Ce morceau est issu de l’album Suàn. Je ne vends pas ce disque.

5. EGBERTO GISMONTI "DANçA SOLITÀRIA N°2" 1978
Artiste brésilien à la discographie infinie, Egberto Gismonti représente la frange progressive brésilienne avec des artistes tels que Os Mutantes. Attention Talent !

6. ROXY MUSIC "IN EVERY DREAM HOME A HEARTACHE" 1973
Un morceau issu de la période de Roxy Music avec Brian Eno. C’était tellement mieux.

7. WHITE NOISE "THE VISITATION" (skit) 1969

8. JOHN CARPENTER "THE BANK ROBBERY" 1981
Célèbre réalisateur, acteur, scénariste, monteur, compositeur et producteur ayant toujours réalisé les musiques de ses films. Incontournable.

9. NASCITA DELLA SFERA "VIOLENZA VESTITA" 1978
Ce morceau est tiré d’un album mystérieux d’un artiste complètement obscur de la scène progressive italienne des années 70. Bientôt sur internet.

10. THE RESIDENTS "WEIGHT-LIFTING LULU" 1978
Ce n’est pas quelques lignes que je devrais réaliser sur ce groupe mais une thèse alors je ne dirais rien.

11. BRIAN ENO "ARAGON" 1978
Issu de "music for films".

12. NO "JUNE 21TH" (extrait) 2010
2ème partie du morceau June 21th intitulée "Réaction".
Un regard sur tout ce qui touche au déclin de la musique. Rejoyce !

13. CAPABILITY BROWN "CIRCUMSTANCES" (skit) 1973
Un morceau que j’ai samplé pour la première version de Mise à L’index en 2005. Un best-seller acclamé par la critique.

14. HENRY-SKOFF TORGUE "SOLILOQUE 2" 1976
Les claviers étranges de Torgue délivrent ici une ambiance mystérieuse, loin des ringardises technologiques de Jean-Michel Jarre. Toute une époque.
