Me and Philip Bynoe sat down in my studio in 1999 and had a blast recording The Ocean - Actually, Phil knocked of the ceiling from the ground floor as he was pounding the studio floor while putting down the bass track.  Without a doubt, Phil is a super bass player with even a "more super" personality.  It was a pure stoke to have worked together.

Without a doubt I was influenced by Jeff Beck.  One of my Dad's friends (Narada Michal Walden) played drums on Becks album Wired.  So I whipped out a track that had Beck-ish flavor to it.  Oh I got no SHAME! :)
