Rodney ‘RockSolid BeatZ’ Gietel, 

Born 1978 in Suriname, living in Holland. 
Nowadays known by many as DJ RockSolid, formerly known as Dj G-Rock.
One of the silent powers and local pioneers behind the Urban related partyscene, for over 25 years now.
What has started as a hobby back in 1990, grown into a fulltime dayjob. From dj-ing, producing beats and mixtapes, planning and organizing events, to managing several big nightclubs.

In 1990 at the age of 12 Dj RockSolid started dj-ing in a local youth center, where his skills were quickly noticed and picked up by the crowd. And despite his young age he started to build up a big fanbase. His big break came 2 years later  at age 14, when he finished 1st out of 20 dj’s competing in a dj battle.
After that win his career took of like a rocket, taking him to clubs all over Europe. 

The most logical next step for a dj is to start producing his own music. And so did Dj RockSolid back in 1999, he started producing for and with some of his friends. Multitalented as Dj RockSolid is, he mastered the art of producing and started to work with local artists active in the RnB / Hiphop scene. 
In 2005 when his musical talent was picked up by a recordlabel named Stompin Entertainment, Dj RockSolid started to work with bigger artists and had to push himself to the limit to stay on top of his game. 

After years of dedication, sacrafice and hard work in 2007 Dj RockSolid put his focus on working as a producer, ended his active dj-career and bundled all of his experience and knowledge into 1 company. 
And that was the beginning of RockSolid BeatZ…

As we speak Dj RockSolid is working on several big projects, albums and his mixtape ‘How It’s Supposed To  Be Done Vol 2’  including local and international artists. 

Producing hit songs, producing BIG TUNES!!!
