Spring is here in beautiful Scandinavia but you can feel the scorching summer heat pouring out from the Jamaican artist, Leafnuts! With his new album out soon, Leafnuts joined forces with his producer, Rocksteady Fred and backing band, The Uplifts. 

The Uplifts singer is Linda Lioness whose sweet singing voice brings warmth to the album which is in contrast to the "machine gun toaster", da Leafnuts. The Uplifts is a backing band from Gothenburg.
 
Bon Dem Dong is the second single from the album which is soon to be released in May. The first single, Mama is being played in radio stations all over the world and this second single is going to be an even bigger hit as da Leafnuts himself says; 

"Bon Dem Dong appeals to every one of all walks of life, you just wana get up and dance"!

The White Elephant - The Uplifts. The Uplifts started out as a backing band for several artists at the Swedish reggae scene. They now have composed an album with their own songs. The White Elephant is the first single and it’s a catchy melody that gets the party started. A video for the song is also recorded and will be released later this summer.

If you like the sound of the 60’s or The Skatalites you will probably like this! The 8-man reggae band leaves nothing to chance and influences come from the SKA, roots, soul and jazz. Polish your dancing shoes and join in the merry tunes!

När kidsen är små följer vi deras drömmar, i tonåren när det kan bli lite tuffare så finns det alltid en vuxen att prata med hos oss. Vi har en fantastisk arena i Stora Höga där våra ledare kämpar för att alla ska få känna sig välkomna och få göra det vi älskar. De är också här vi föräldrar träffas, pratar och lär känna varandra. För varje krona vi drar in så ger det oss chansen att utveckla ledare och arenan. Det ger oss möjligheter att växa individuellt och ihop, det är vad det gör.
