Alexander Darryl is a solo singer/songwriter who comes from many different kinds of genres. He started out playing rock & roll on his guitar at the very tender age of 13. Alexander Darryl had always been kind of reserved therefore not many people knew about his musical talents. Coming from the projects in Detroit there was always a lot of pressure to be great considering all of the talent that was emerging out of Detroit. It was not until high school that Alexander Darryl gained the confidence to really display his talents. At age 16 he got his first invitation to play guitar for a band called “The Dust Band”. “The Dust Band” was a cover band that developed a buzz around the city of Detroit covering bands such as The Commodore’s, Heat Wave, The Jackson 5, and Michael Jackson. As his love for music grew, Alexander Darryl started to focus more on his passion for writing songs and began to develop his own unique style. The fact that Alexander Darryl has played, covered, and written many songs that cover a wide range of genre gives him a style like no other. His key attribute is versatility.  

His  real name is Darryl Alexander Fryer, but as an artist, I’m Alexander Darryl. Alexander only exists online and currently has two albums on iTunes. My third album, “Back To Da Tracks” will be out soon amazon.com. This album has 15 instrumentals ranging from Jazz, Pop, R&B, and Hip-Hop
