Their quarter-century birthday commemorations raise the bar once again as a variety of sounds and styles come together for a 174BPM compilation like no other.

DRS & Dynamite, two legends who have taken the scene by storm with their collaborative outfit, team up with Logistics for a new-wave remix of the 2009 heater ‘Jungle Music’. Wordsmiths by nature, DRS & Dynamite lay down carefully crafted bars paying homage to their love for jungle and its roots over Logistics’ revamped instrumental.

Stepping up for remix duties on Danny Byrd’s iconic ‘Salute (feat. MC GQ)’ is none other than the king of the amen, Remarc offering his clear cut production skill. Breaks processed to perfection and an unruly bassline are fused flawlessly with elements of the original, including the nostalgia-inducing horns and illustrious vocals of drum & bass veteran GQ.

An instantly recognisable anthem to any drum & bass fan and an undeniable staple in the Hospital Records back catalogue, ‘Beautiful Lies’ by B-Complex gets the remix treatment from L-Side who’s been making moves with the V Recordings crew. The future meets a classic as minimal bouncing drum work and ripping bass stabs instil bursts of brand new energy into the track.

Expect a collision of sonic realms in Halogenix’s remix of Kings Of The Rollers’ infamous ‘Shella (feat. Chimpo)’. Flying the flag for the Critical Music family, Halogenix’s 2021 rendition which has been generating excitement from corner to corner in the world of drum & bass for some time now unleashes an absolute growler of a bassline as Manchester’s very own Chimpo dominates the topline.

“What I Wouldn’t Do” features the sublime vocal talents of the Swiss based songstress LaMeduza. Originally written against a slow stepping beat (original mix will be exclusively available via the Lossless Music bandcamp store) this amen rollout mix features a beautifully processed amen break and dream like atmospherics. A superb slice of futuristic jungle. 

LOSSDIGI001 marks the first digital only release on Lossless and Soul Intent had this to say  - “With vinyl production times being what they are, and people seeming to care less about the format of their music these days it seems an appropriate time to start some digital only releases. This enables us to release more regularly and I can start to feature other artists. To be clear though, Lossless is still very passionate about releasing on vinyl and we have lots of fantastic 12”s on the way.”

A purveyor of the spectrum’s deeper end, re-known for an ever quality output, we’re pleased to present the 2nd album from Zero T, entitled ‘Golden Section’, coming on Dispatch this Autumn.

Taking its name from a classical mathematic formula (illustrated on the album’s artwork), Zero T explores the science and maths behind beauty; the factors and stimuli that govern our perception of balance, harmony and beauty in nature, art, architecture and composition.

Exploring intrinsic reactions to music and how discerning elements can balance against one another, Zero T ventures into the senses across the album; from the mesmerising nostalgia of ‘Macushla’ and dubbed out roller ‘Everything Must Change’, to dancefloor poised punishers ‘Good For Nothing’ and ‘Wolf Tone’.

Comprised of 13 original tracks, plus two additional bonus tracks, the digital album predominantly features solo jaunts, such as the blissful title track ‘Golden Section‘ and opened by the elegantly arranged ‘Late Nite Movies’, however a few special guests also join the picture, for some more technically focused collaborations.

Linking up with Fierce on the unrelenting, yet, mischievously sampled ‘Cross It’, Zero T also joins fellow Dubliner Beta 2, with two industrial workouts, including harsh stomper, yet groove driven ‘Cairo’.

Utilizing the technical apparatus to investigate a long adopted term, Zero T carefully maps out the indices to deliver a classic, all-encompassing long player that evokes the senses in numerous ways.

Hospital Records’ São Paulo discovery Urbandawn is a serious contender. After releasing two popular EPs with the label and spending several months determined in the studio his debut album ‘Gothenburg Cluster’ is ready.

Seventeen tracks of sophisticated sound design unite punching drum beats, funk ridden riffs and huge cinematic explorations. The experienced audio engineer not only draws from his Brazilian roots but also the more niche rock, metal and folk bands of the Swedish mid 90’s scene. It’s this distinctive spin on drum & bass that’s grown support from the scene's heavyweights over the last two years.

It was ‘Trindade’ - discovered deep in Hospital’s demo box - that first brought Urbandawn to London Elektricity’s attention. He's been tipped as 'The Future Sound of Brazil' with ‘Messiah Complex’ and ‘Pavlov’s Dog’ that have stayed permanently in the label boss' record box and getting dancefloor’s moving across the world.

‘Still Breathing’ featuring Med School prodigy Keeno, is an emotive match of ethereal piano and staccato strings. Since releasing his last full-length LP S.P.Y has filled mountains of hard-drives with sketches, VIPs, bootlegs and tear-out weapons for his regular top spots on drum & bass line-ups across the world. With a clear vision ahead, he’s selected the best of the bunch for a triple hit of ‘Alone In The Dark’ EPs. Opening with pure S.P.Y production is ‘Termination’, an eerie tale through slow build-ups and that thick, menacing S.P.Y sub buzz.
