Happy Hour Selections from Decades Bar Makati

It was the years where music was appreciated well and we sang every moment of any genre, We start at 5pm happy hour where yuppies spend their time getting buy one take one on draft beer with the best pulutan in the area.

Traffic? No worries we took care of it and went to many generations on music playlist to enjoy while drinking. It had also TGIP (Thanks God Its Payday) where mostly the place was packed from 5pm happy hour to 10pm and we play new wave to disco 80's and 90's.

Great moments and experience for me at this place and made my selections really wide using vinyl, cd and even mini disc, it was fun times!

Decades Happy Hour 90s Alternative Rock Selections

Rocky began his venture with music when he was only 12 years old.

At a very young age, he skipped playing on the streets with other kids and moved further to developing a skill that is not common to ordinary people.

He started with a mobile group (Modular Display) and his career went on. Since then, he has always been an asset to the clubs he played and resided at. Known for his Tech House, Techno, Tribal, Breakbeat and Progressive House tunes, Rocky does not only play and mix the music, but he also innovates different kinds of mixing styles.

Rocky is a very down "to" earth DJ. He doesn't care about fame and glory, which is a common case in the DJ industry politics. To him, its all about professionalism and of course, passion in music.

When not DJing, Rocky Solarta plays a big role in contributing for the DJ industry. He is part of a booking agency that brings the best international DJs and artists in downtown philly , Funboy Event's (Responsible for bringing Tiesto, Max Graham, Dj Preach, Dj Phynn, Olav Basoski, Ian Carey & Benny Benassi in the phil's). He was chosen also to open for "The House Master's" Olav Basoski and Ian 45 Carey Last Aug 2006 & close for Tiesto last April 2006.

Rockys influences in music are the likes of Derrick Carter, Roger Sanchez, Olav Basoski, Ian Carey, Basement Jaxx, Carl Cox, David Morales, Erick Morillo, Deep Dish, Deep Swing, Ferry Corsten, Full Intention, Groove Armada, Robbie Rivera, Sandy Rivera, Wally Lopez, Steve Lawler, Steve Angelo, Antoine Clamaran, Seb Fontain, and Miguel Migs just to name. Surely, you will never miss to hear these artists in Rocky's playlist.

But that's not all. He is very versatile too when it comes to music genre. At times, you can catch him play and mix 80s, 90s, New Wave, and Ambient music. Name it, hell mix it. A genuine person with passion that truly deserves the respect of a real DJ.
