When artists as renowned as these two come together to cook up some music, there’s a certain level of greatness one should expect to hear. Fear not, Low Steppa & BOT certainly delivered and are definitely a collaboration to be reckoned with. We’re blessed with yet another EP here where neither an A or B side can be distinguished, but we’ll let you decide.

Lowsteppa’s oldschool flava’s and BOT’s grungy basslines stick out like saw thumbs on both of these crowd hungry bangers, showing off the pairs’ renowned talents. Whatever brought these two wizards together, we’re certainly happy and we’re sure you will be too after listening.

Ahh, the joys of Summer. Something about this season puts a smile on our face. Could be the sun, could be the Summer break, but most of all we love it because it’s BBQ season. Dirtybird started with a grill and some speakers in the park, and while we’ve passed a decade of park parties, we’ve reached the third installment of our yearly BBQ compilation, “Secret Sauce'.

BBQ’s are all about coming together, so we’ve added some unique artist collaborations, along with several up and coming artists we’ve welcomed to the family. Doorly &amp; Marshall Jefferson, Shiba San &amp; Will Clarke, Billy Kenny &amp; Maximono, Christian Martin &amp; Ardalan, and Justin Jay &amp; Sacha Robotti all team up for the first time, and we welcome back Bruno Furlan and Sirus Hood, who each turn in their own stand-out tracks that have been on heavy rotation.  We are proud to present Christian Nielsen's debut release on Noir Music. Noir and Christian has been friends for many years and therefore we have been following the Danish talent closely and waited for the perfect time and the perfect tracks to create his first release on the label. So.... here it is.....

Over and Over sits right in between tech and techno with those irresistible vocals that's become Christian's signature. On Speeding Mr. Nielsen digs a little deeper and the result is a fantastic techno-groover which roots back to early Detroit underground. We recommend you give in and play both.

Nottingham’s Latmun arrives on Leftwing & Kody’s Lost Records with three energy fuelled house cuts, whilst Crosstown Rebel favourite Russ Yallop rounds out the EP on remix duties.

After an initial foray into production at the end of 2014, Latmun aka Joe Bradley’s sharp rise has garnered the attention and support of many including Lee Foss, Claptone, Darius Syrossian and Skream. The past year has seen the UK talent release on a host of distinguished labels such as VIVa, El Row, Toolroom and Mar-T’s Wow! Recordings.

‘Cosmic’ kicks off the release with a selection of rumbling low end tones, stuttering vocal samples and reverberating sirens before ‘Break’ utilises engaging rhythm and evolving stabs to reveal a heady groove that’s packed full of swing. ‘Steez’ then utilises organic percussion and vocal whirrs to hold and maintain the attention of the floor, until Russ Yallop’s remix of ‘Cosmic’ reshapes the original, building on the crisp percussive elements and low-slung rhythms.
