The iconic British producer, whose last LP arrived via Ostgut Ton in 2016, follows up this year’s "Say It Loud" on @tokenrecords with a full length featuring a wealth of brand new material. 

A figure who needs little introduction to fans of the genre, but whose consistency in the studio and on the road has repeatedly marked him out as true pioneer of sound design and performance with a singular vision, Slater first minted the PAS alias in ’93. Since then, a slew of singles and LP’s from the industrious artist have made sure Planetary Assault Systems has become a byword for hypnotic, funk-heavy Techno in a purist tradition. Toeing the line between heady, psychedelic material and all out main room fare – Slater’s work as PAS captures the very best facets of the genre, with economically selected parts exquisitely arranged and engineered with a shrewd and uncompromising ear for what really makes people move.  

On the new LP, Slater draws on studio material but also components recorded during the PAS live show – and he’s keen to let fans know the focus is well and truly on the dance floor with this one: "Sky Scraping" is a loud and unabashed celebration of the formative and familiar environments so loved by the electronic music community, the dark clubs and festivals made special by their unique ability to bring likeminded people together.  

"Coal" thrusts the listener straight back down the wormhole – an extraordinary, driving piece propelled by a guttural lead synth sequence and ghostly drums.

Vegim's journey into the underground began in the mid 90's. At first, music was just a hobby. Once he began collecting records his obsession grew stronger and he invested in his first pieces of music equipment. 1998 was the year Vegim became a full time slave to the underground. He rapidly developed his skills as a DJ and in his Production. The desire to tell his story through music took over and Vegim has never looked back. Earliest experiments in the studio go back to around 2002. Today, Vegim is recognized as one of Techno's most influential artists. Not only a skilled DJ/Producer but also a graphics designer and coneptionalist that has a style unlike any other.

He has released his own tracks and done countless remixes for many of the best known labels in the Techno realm. His tracks and remixes are well supported by dj’s like: Dave Clarke, Laurent Garnier, Chris Liebing, Ben Klock, Marcel Dettmann, Dax J, Slam and many more.

Kaiser is the alias of Gianluca Caiati, Italian artist, based in Berlin, Germany. Founder and owner of KSR imprint since 2018.
In his relatively short career, he already managed to build up an impressive discography with releases on labels such as Soma, Animal Farm and Voxnox. He recently announced his new EP "Towards the Mess EP" on Bas Mooy´ MORD imprint, which will be available in March.

For the most recent collaborative release curated by WSNWG, label head Rødhåd invited young, Brighton-based breakthrough producer and DJ Rene Wise to his studio for a week-long jam session in 2019. 
The end result is four driving, hypnotic Techno tracks with a swinging groove and 90s-inspired percussion. Made for the club, they build up tension and captivate listeners with rolling baselines, funky rhythms and mystical melodies.

WSNWG’s landscape continues to expand as Rødhåd joins forces with American producer and live act Lady Starlight to deliver an EP with four heady collaborative jams. Lady Starlight’s powerful modular live setup was wired into Rødhåd’s East Berlin studio for a series of recording sessions this summer, which found the duo combining knowledge and ideas to create tracks filled with urgency, rhythm, strength, and mystery.

Now an established force in contemporary Techno, Mike Bierbach, better known under his stage name Rødhåd is someone who has seriously put in the work. Having cut his teeth DJing as a relatively unnoted (but well loved by those in the know) local in Berlin for 10 years, one could argue that by the time success knocked on his door, he was more than ready for playing the international stage. It was during these 10 years of obscurity when he refined his craft to become the singular DJ he is now. 

Launching his party-series-turned-label Dystopian in 2009 was what truly tipped the ball over for Rødhåd. In a time where the Berlin scene was heavily oversaturated by fluffy, miscellaneous dance music, he & his peers set out to form a platform for real techno. The reception to this was raucous. 

Although he has lauded productions and remixes to his name, DJing is his true forte. Before abandoning his day job as a draftsman in construction “The Red” (as some call him due to his gingered, bearded appearance) was known for playing very long sets in Berlin’s most notorious hideaways. 

With an album, several EPs & remixes for a multitude of different artists under his belt, Rødhåd the producer has received equal praise as Rødhåd the DJ. Dystopian has hosted most of his releases, but in 2018 he founded a new label WSNWG that serves as a home for collaborative productions, excavated in sessions at his East-Berlin studio with his peers such as Lucy, Alex.Do, & Antigone.
