The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from 92Groovz. We're back with our third premiere off this slammin' EP and today we bring you the Rødig remix of "Outcast". The Lockhart Road EP delivers four original tracks of the artist's raw punk-infused grooves while also containing two remixes, one from Chris Flannigan and our premiere today, the remix from Rødig.

This year's EP features a dubby yet groovy original track, accompanied by remixes from some incredibly talented friends. Following the success of last year's Astrophoria release, I decided once again to bring together a group of amazing local artists to reimagine the original track.

TIS infused it with brokenbeat and mellow vibes, Gioski made it punchier, Cadence turned it (again!) into a trance anthem, rodig slowed it down for a more chill-out atmosphere and Tahal went experimental with his version.

I’m beyond happy to have such an incredible team on board for this one again! Be sure to check out each of their work—every one of their releases is a banger!

Otium Records delivers its fourth chapter with Beneath It All, the new EP from Utrecht-born DJ and producer SVNX.

Raised in a family deeply rooted in music, SVNX started his path producing hip hop before venturing into electronic music. This foundation shaped his distinctive style: dark, gritty textures and noisy soundscapes, sharpened with modern production precision. His sound bridges raw nostalgia with a forward-thinking edge, creating atmospheres that feel both current and timeless.

On Beneath It All, SVNX crafts three originals defined by fast-paced drums, eerie pads, and heavily processed vocals. Some tracks plunge into shadowy, hypnotic territory, while others channel tight, high-energy grooves aimed straight at the floor. It’s a record built on contrasts, dark and groovy, abrasive and refined, always charged with relentless energy.

The EP is completed with three remixes: Kabay injects his raw power, DJ SUN adds his signature punch, and Rødig delivers a sharp reinterpretation. Together, they expand SVNX’s vision into a versatile package that resonates across the modern techno landscape.
Out October 29th on OTIUM Records (OTIUM004), Beneath It All showcases SVNX’s rising force and sets a new statement for the label’s sound.

Rødig creates with emotion and precision as his fuel. His music is less about style than intention, pursuing honesty through sound.
After years in Berlin refining his craft, he returned to Switzerland with a clearer vision, letting instinct guide where genre once did. From echoes of UK Garage to the pulse of techno, the warmth of house, breaks, and ambient, his path has been shaped by artists whose work carries soul and individuality. It’s those qualities that push him toward his own sense of uniqueness.

His first LP, ‘Human Machine’, and latest EP, ‘Soft Resistance’, on his label Shojiki Records trace this evolution, a movement toward creative freedom and truthfulness. 

Alongside Otium, Rødig continues to organise events where music is not made to impress, but to connect and be free.
As both a mixing and mastering engineer, he approaches sound with the same care and precision he brings to his art, intentionally shaping it until it feels alive and vibrant.

Born in Switzerland and shaped by the beats of UK Garage, Dubstep, and Drum’n’Bass, Rødig found his true calling in techno while studying architecture at university. Realising his passion for music, he relocated to Berlin, the beating heart of techno, where he immersed himself in refining his sound.
