I believe minorities have things hard
The odds are stacked against them, raw
Minorities are more worried about an attacker
Damn right I believe Black Lives Matter

As of this recording Covid is out of control
In the US it has been completely mishandled
As of today, over 3 million cases
Many places no masks on faces.

How is it there are people who won’t wear a mask?
How unbelievably selfish is that.
With over 100 000 dead,
Our president finally wore one on his head.

I believe Donald Trump is a lying con man
Who has half the country under his spell
As the Dali llama said so well
Hes’ a threat to humanity (delay….)

I believe those working hard should  afford rent
Minimum wage barely pays dollars and cents
It’s just not fair for those working hard
Who can’t even afford to buy a car.

I believe everybody is fighting a battle.
Be nice and kind, we’re all intertwined.
A little kindness can go a long way
And brighten up somebody’s day.

These are the things that I believe

At factory farms the conditions are hell
This is where we get much of our food
As we pay the tormentors for what they do.

I believe there’s something greater than ourselves
Something I can’t understand well.
Like where did we come from and where are we going
It’s beyond me, I don’t claim to be knowing.

I believe that family is life
And life is family, and I love my wife.
And I love my kids, yes
And I love the journey as they get big.

Those are all important issues
I believe one’s higher on the ladder.
Cause if this one’s not solved,
Nothing else after will matter.

I believe we may be headed for a disaster
The climate is changing that’s for sure
Will the human race be here?
I’m completely unsure.

So there’s some things that I believe

A lot to take in a lot to deal with.
Many issues that are heavy.
