SCB presents a new site-specific performance at Alte Münze, Berlin as part of CORONA CULTURE.

Nexum is a depiction of the pandemic and how it has interrupted human routine and created global imbalances. People have endured many difficulties and are still experiencing the growing pains caused by such dramatic transitions.

However, the disruption to our pace of life gave people time to reflect and forced many to address situations they hadn’t before.

Nexum is about resiliency, how life is born through crisis and how we as humans are learning to build new realities in times of constant uncertainty.

This is a 2G event with limited capacity.

MORPHÜN, as engineer and music producer Renan Lopes is known, always brings something new to his mixes, not sticking to genre standards, and always withdrawing the translation at times when there seems to be none.
Mineiro, who has lived in São Paulo for more than 10 years, has been familiar with music, instruments and bands since he was a child, and since 2019 he has been releasing his productions and mixes, guided by a great influence from styles such as Synthwave, Techno Raw, among others.

Arlequin, this two-faced historical character of eclectic movement gives inspiration to the first part of the evening. He is grotesque, stubborn, foolish, smooth, and fast but never reveals his true self. He moves in urban surroundings where, through his lack of authenticity, he seems disconnected, unstructured, blocked, empty and on the verge of falling, much like the Urban lifestyle itself. Aren’t we all projecting, wearing a mask or being oppressed by secrets?
