"BOZAL" is the new album by Peruvian multidisciplinary artist Rodolfo Rueda, under his producer alias CIBER1A. The album contains heavy doses of sound design, Afro-Peruvian rhythms, and polyrhythmic ideas, creating sonic storylines that are constantly evolving.

Coming from a background in freely improvised music and visual work, CIBER1A’s new album aims to be as visually stimulating as it is sonically. This album is the outcome of consistent and organic exploration through field recordings, foley sounds, and prepared instruments, allowing him to create fictional environments with sound sources that are often untraceable.

Alta Tensión opens the album, bringing a glitchy, bass-heavy approach to reggaeton rhythms, along with landscapes of noise and heavily processed synths. A dystopian, gritty track, it also marks the slowest tempo on the album.
