Garçon, Dj and producer originally hailing from Paris has made a significant mark on the
Madrid scene over the past years. 

“For this podcast I wanted to dive into some after hours selection, like if I was playing in the early morning. Also most of the digital tracks you will ear are unreleased from myself and from friends ;)”

With some new releases planned in couple of months and from classical music training to resident at the Roots, he is now a rising fixture on the European scene. He had the opportunity to perform numerous dates at the Goya Social Club and other clubs like Lula, Lab, Cadavra in Madrid, Nodd Club in Paris, Studio Stereo in Barcelona, or leading festivals in Spain, notably the no less famous Dias De Campo.

His house? A precise roadmap between retro turbulences and modern currents, blending vinyls gems with digital.

He has recently created his duo, Taxi Drivers, with whom he is planning new releases and started a residency with WonderKidz, a fresh Parisian collective. Together, they had the opportunity to perform in several party capitals around Europe.

about
Hi, I’m Lucas Leder, though most people know me as Le Nomad. I’m a French-Vietnamese DJ and producer. Three years ago, after finishing audio engineering school, I moved to Madrid and started from scratch—living in a storage room at my friends’ place, where we also began the Pachanga collective. My goal was clear: to finally start playing in public, shaping my own sound, and releasing music after years of experimenting with production and composition.

I grew up traveling the world, collecting cultures and soaking up sounds. Music has been with me for over 15 years, and this EP is a reflection of that journey—my way of sharing the variety I love to create.

The first single, “Strangers,” is deeply personal. It features my own vocals and guitars, a nod to my indie roots, blended with the influence of French electro that has always inspired me. Lyrically, it expresses that universal, hard-to-define feeling after a perfect night out—when you feel connected, energized, and alive.

Some of the other tracks were written one or two years ago, each one finding its own moment on the dancefloor. I prefer to let them speak for themselves.

At the same time, I’m building my own label and party—a free space for artists to release electronic music without worrying about genres or tags. A platform to explore, to create, and to show every side of what I do.

Madrid’s underground has no shortage of strong voices, but Chris Gorrie has carved out a space of his own with a sound shaped by years spent moving between Brussels, Rome, Buenos Aires and now the Spanish capital. As the driving force behind the much-respected Quinoa label, he has built a platform that balances curiosity with intention, pairing club culture with a broader artistic vision that has taken the project across Europe and beyond. 

His approach to mixing mirrors that path: purposeful, stripped back and rooted in emotional clarity rather than excess. That ethos runs through the mix that he recently contributed to our mix series, where he aimed to “include the minimum necessary elements to encompass the current scope of my sound”. From trusted staples to long-sought gems and unreleased cuts, Chris blends precision with spontaneity in a way that continues to define both his sets and the evolving world of Quinoa. Formerly known as Garçon, and a member of Taxi Drivers and the WonderKidz collective, he now delivers the very first edition of our “Slice Of Nice” guest mix series on 99 Percent Nice. If you’ve followed our releases or come to our parties, you’ve probably seen or heard him.
