The Man in Linen

This is a song. It used to be a poem. As with most things I write, I'm not sure how I feel about the ending. Maybe because I didn't want it to end?? Or more likely because I'm not really sure what it means. If you figure it out, lemme know.

2 years pass, the Haddonites stand in uniformed lines of absolute assurance stretched for as far as the eye could see. The smell of blood, sweat & death lay beneath them …the only the obstacle; the castle of Taur & it’s meagre, petrified soldiers lay in their path. The warrior queen signals the chant to strike fear into the hearts of the evil ones
