On the bridge between San José, Costa Rica and Berlin, Germany, Ignacio Rosa, producer, vocalist, DJ and label head behind DISCOTECA NEGRA, is standing in crafting synthetic and dark soundscapes that embrace the essence of the 80s decade which created the groundwork for the developments that lead into the early 90s.

Ignacio plays around the influence of his punk roots, resulting in a canvas where classic and a raw ethos converge, showcasing material on his own record label and personal timeless favorites. He succeeded notably well in mix no. 40!

Multi Culti shines a light on one of the key players of the Lithuanian scene with ‘V’’s ‘Voyage Voyage.’ Venerated mystery man V stands for many things, but first and foremost: Vilnius. Resident at Opium Club & Gallery 1986, founder of Ant Bangos, Alfavilnius, and OLE Festivals, creator of Silence Music, Best Kept Secret, and Le Temps Perdu labels - the artist formerly known as 'Vidis’ has been a mainstay in Lithuanian music for over 20 years, a talented curator, community builder and, of course, DJ.

With ‘Voyage Voyage’, V crystallizes his musical aesthetics, presenting a stripped-down mix of 80s new wave and 2000s electro - influences no doubt familiar to the legions of Lithuanian fans that have been chugging along to his sets for the last 20+ years. 

On ‘Avventura,’ V enlists Domenique Dumont for a cinematic instrumental, with a new-wave indie bass line sailing us past epic strings and contrapuntal melodies in a dreamy nostalgic fashion. Multi Culti co-founder Dreems jumps into the deep end on ‘Kosmische Muzik,’ a rollicking jam that combines the pastoral psychedelic feeling of Krautrock with industrial 
prog-tronica.

There’s enough variety in this triptych to keep things interesting while still feeling cohesive, a skillful set of tracks that showcases V’s vast experience while pointing to this being very much the beginning for him as a producer.

Luca Venezia de son vrai nom est un dj et producteur américain basé à Berlin, il y a maintenant plus d'une dizaine d'années qui a su se réinventer et est aller puiser dans ses influences passées à savoir le punk et l'électronique des années 80. De ce savant mélange en est sorti la Next Wave Acid Punx, terme qu'il utilisé pour ses superbes compilations sorties chez Eskimo Records. Est-ce un style ? We have been supporting Mikkelrev music for a while, with different releases on labels such as Oh! Records or HMWL. The Swedish producer presents 'Toulouse', his new EP consisting on 2 original tracks + 2 top-tier remixes by Menshen and Istia.

Sweden has had a particular influence in Deep House sound, delivering music with a very specific taste that combines Nu Disco influences, an overall positive feeling and complex synth work rather than a more minimalistic groove. Mikkelrev definitely shows this influences, as 'Zngr' and ' Toulouse' are two melodic tracks, with vocal samplings and uplifting harmonies that will definitely bring the perfect atmosphere to your beach club DJ sets.

On the remix duties, we are so happy to welcome Menshen (half of Monitor 66 duo), who delivers an impressive reconstruction of 'Zngr' driven by a powerful bassline surrounded by beautiful synths - one for the nu-disque lovers!

Another northern-europe producer, Istia,  remixes 'Toulouse' on his own unique way of treating laid-back grooves with relaxed guitars and saxophones - don't miss this one!
