01 Dyin' To Be Born Again

Good Scientist is a new music project by Roger Fife. 

Roger was originally a member of Ruby Blue, signed to Polygram and Island way back in the early 90’s.  He moved into the role of engineer/producer after 4 albums with Ruby Blue. He worked in London and New York with such acts as: Cyndi Lauper, Tricky, Butterfly Child, Antony and the Johnsons and many more, eventually settling in NYC for over ten years working on productions for albums and TV shows.

Around 2017 Roger took a break from music, but ultimately the call to making music came back.

Good Scientist is a brand new project and features Roger on vocals, guitars and synth, with some help from New York drummer Sammy Merendino (Lou Reed, Billy Joel, Laurie Anderson, Michael Jackson).
Good Scientist sits somewhere between Indie guitar, classic songs and a touch of electronics, reminiscent of mid-90’s Bristol.

A full-length album has been completed and will be released late 2025, early 2026.
