The Requiem of Shevannai opens up during the final battle between the two remaining armies of Sylvania. Cut-scene to the final blow between the opposing High Mages...which annihilated not just the Elvish armies, but wrought unholy devastation to the entire land.

In the aftermath of the battle, during a thunderstorm that rains hail and ash heavy on the lands, the one survivor of the armies, the ancient sorceress Shevannai composes an elegy for any other survivors across the realm.

In sorrow and outrage, she weaves an incantation to allow all survivors across the realm to hear her whisper:

"Listen. Listen closely.
The war is lost.
The betrayal was beyond imagining.
Unholy magic.
Unholy ambition.
But it is not over. It is not over."

So I wrote this for her one Sunday afternoon - and luckily enough, she liked it! Her voice and her lyrics are just perfect and have turned my original idea into something so, so much better. It has been a long hard year for everyone and emotions have been high. From despair over loss, to fear of not being able to repair our lives and anger because not enough was done to lessen the possibility of paying this price because too many haven't wanted to believe it was happening.  This will be a year that will never be forgotten and the repercussions have only begun to be felt. We will never be the same again no matter how much we pretend we won't have to create a new normal. The year 2019 was the last year of 'Good old Days' which is my next piece of music.

The Miracle of Love (Cover)

A fun collaboration of a song by Willie Dixon, made when my friend Tanya was in her last days of the 14 day quarantine in a hotel in Tasmania. She recorded some drums and finger cymbals on her phone and we stitched this blues classic together. 

A few additions are still needed when we get together in the home studio in person.

RE-CONCEPTUAL MOTION
__________The Mystique and Myrh had already decided to stay forever on the Asteroid of the Holiday, but the Myrh's wristwatch sounded, notifying friends that something interesting had arisen somewhere in the galaxy that required study.

At that moment, she remembered that they had landed here in search of fuel, but then something went wrong. Of course, the smell of space fuel growing everywhere on this asteroid could not but tempt the mystic to taste it. And his genuine joy on this occasion could not fail to persuade Myrh to follow his example.

For days on end, they looked at the stars, jumped on space-fuel buds like on trampolines and had fun, forgetting about everything in the world. This is why this place is called the holiday asteroid

The memory returned, and although the fun had to temporarily cease (although Mystique was only persuaded to return to the ship after he tore off a huge loaf of space-fuel plant and put it in his backpack), a joyful feeling arose inside. Because new adventures always lead us to new discoveries. This is something worth traveling for
