The New Year Song

Twenty one males take their lives every week in Australia due to family access issues.  Whether that statistic is accurate or not.  Whether its one or twenty one it is too many.

This song was written after reading a couple of handwritten notes by fathers who suicided after being denied the right to see their children.

Far too often the courts side with the mother as a matter of course.  Thats not to say mothers shouldn't have custody.  Equally, fathers, the majority of them deserve the same rights as mothers.  Kids need both parents if they are to grow into happy healthy adults.

21 Sons.  For all the dads who didn't make it.  We remember you.
