The incredible remake of the trance beauty Oasis by Talla 2XLC was a huge success and it was played by all the main players in the scene. Now the well known trance duo Metta & Glyde deliver their own interpretation of Talla’s remake and the truth is that they did an incredible job as they added their own techish basslines, mechanical drums and superb synths replaying the famous Paragliders melody of the golden original within a very convincing and highly emotional breakdown with trance voices, new piano melodies and great atmospheres that will be impossible not to scream with excitement when the huge gargantuan synthy hook will be unleashed fat and bold. The climax is pure euphoria with techy edge perfect for the more tougher and rougher trance sets full of color and pleasant vibrations. Metta & Glyde remix continues the saga of Oasis in 2021 and is out now on That’s Trance to add in your collection.

New Horizon (Extended Mix)

New Horizon was inspired by a shared love and appreciation for Planet Earth. I have always been committed and active in campaigning about current environmental challenges. I thought this would be a deeply needed project, and the perfect way to convey this important message to all our fans. We wrote New Horizon after thinking about ways to change attitudes toward these issues. It was a chance to sing out about something I feel strongly about and push these questions from my heart out into the universe. We want the song to change how people think about solutions to our environmental problems, and this inspired the title, New Horizon.

Blood Groove & Kikis' "Wonderland" artist album proved to be one of Silk's proudest releases to date. The Latvian duo demonstrated why they are being hailed as one of the leading acts in progressive at the moment, with stunning compositions that range from pensive and chilled to uplifting and euphoric. Our imprint is thrilled to present two brand new remixes by AWD and Gregory Esayan of "Afloat", one of our favorite cuts from the album. This particular track features the effortlessly lush vocals of Richard J Aarden. 

Rising British talent AWD has experienced a breakthrough year, with radio support from the likes of Chicane and BT. For his second contribution to our imprint, he offers an adrenalin-fueled interpretation. The track jumps out of the gate with a layered bassline, soaring chord progression, and poignant piano arpeggio. Meanwhile, Richard J Aarden's sensitive and soothing voice echoes above. The vocalist is offered a full solo in the main break, where the heartfelt lyrics are especially moving. The drop to follow is flat-out explosive. 

Russian veteran Gregory Esayan, a sensational progressive artist who has contributed to various Silk divisions in recent years, offers a more chilled mix. Acoustic guitar and percussion, coupled with Richard's wonderful vocal, are featured in the introduction of the song. At the quarter turn, a more up-tempo groove emerges, as well as a variety of ethereal vocal stabs. The main break is breathtaking, as Richard's titular vocal hook, "Keep it afloat", soars above a sun-soaked soundscape.

Perplexity Music has the pleasure of bringing back the melodic musical maestro Roald Velden for our next breathtaking release.The Dutch native presents this divine two track release titled 'As The Years Went By/Sunset Over Emst. There are not many words to say as this incredible release speaks words of its own to magnify the beauty of this ever evolving genre so we hope you enjoy this one as much as we did!  

The first track we proudly present to you is 'As The Years Went By' & what better way to delve into the context of this serene title by being taken on a smooth flowing journey packed with melodies so powerful that it's almost tangible in our hands. The stunning structure of the jaunty & vibrant range of chords used highlights the feeling of time passing by slowly, allowing us to savor each minute that slips through our grasps.The progression of the steady & light kicks melds in perfectly with the tender piano backdrop that floats with the more powerful chords. If there ever was something to describe a sentimental moment of thinking of the precious memories we lose to time, then this is stroke of the writer's quill that dictates it. 

The second track titled 'Sunset Over Emst' is another that follows on the trend of being subjected to heart wrenching melodic components from beginning to end. It starts off as gentle as a butterfly's wings beating in the fresh spring air, like the exquisite range of chords hover around us, sinking in with every breath we take. The deeper & more intricate piano lines haunt us with how delicate they are, simply adding flavor to the already delectable sound arrangements. As the summer is winding down & people get on with their lives, you'll feel like you are sat in a lush green field, watching the sun dip behind the skyline of the striking town of Emst, or wherever you may be & it'll be alright as long as you have these magical sounds in your ears. 

Once again, productions like these from dedicated producers like Roald Velden reiterate why this music moves us so much to a point where goosebumps become permanent due to the beauty that is spread through our heart & soul. Nitrous Oxide Feat Aneym - Follow You (Allen Watts & Mike Sanders Rework)

What can I say about this one. Two of my favorite all-time artists in the trance world, each with their own separately earned claims to their respective thrones, and a call to go and remix them? Yes please.  I hope you love this as much as I loved working on this one.  Listening to the two of them sing together just caught me off guard with how beautiful the whole tonal color really becomes.  You know what they say: greater than the sum of their parts....
