Extended/OTC Sets

It is one of the most anticipated Global DJ Broadcast episodes every year, and for many a highlight of the summer (no pressure guys!), where I dedicate myself to crafting a special 2 hour mix containing some of the most beautiful melodies and early morning moments that have graced the beaches and shores of Ibiza and beyond - the Sunrise Set.

After 3 months of preparation in ensuring that this would be a journey to remember and appreciated, I showcased it to the world on Global DJ Broadcast, and as requested by the fans, here it is for all of you to enjoy and stream at your leisure.

Recognised for its influence in the radio and dance music industries, Markus Schulz's dedication and admiration for the connection between creator and listener is borne through his weekly Global DJ Broadcast journeys; accentuated through a series of dedicated themed mixes, reflecting the seasons of the calendar.

Welcome to a very special edition of Global DJ Broadcast, as Markus Schulz today introduces the latest in his series of themed concept mixes. A two hour all vocal trance journey titled In Bloom, joining the ranks of the established Sunrise Set, Afterdark and Classics Showcase. 

The goal with In Bloom is to celebrate and embrace the spring season. This concept in particular is focused on words, and how they are interpreted through song, weaved throughout the eras of past, present and future. 

And by the future, that includes the world premiere of world premiere of Markus' brand new Dakota single, his remake of the iconic Running Up That Hill, an integral piece of his audiovisual project The Nine Skies.

My 7h set from the very first #OpenXClose show in New York from New Year's Eve, 2018.

Set includes a 2H back to back with Ashley Wallbridge full of Garuda exclusives, and some rather dodgy mic action in the last ten minutes when the, ahem, celebrating had got the better of me ;)

I'm afraid we didn't record the amazing live performances from Emma Hewitt and Jonathan Mendelsohn but everything else is complete.

Big love to our incredible crowd in New York who kept the venue slammed until the very end.
