It's Complicated: True Dating Stories

A collection of short-form comedy sketches ranging from bizarre scenarios to parodies on well-known (and often super cliché) formats like corny infomercials and show trailers that are far too intense for what the show actually delivers. 

Inspired by skits found on many classic late-90s and early 00s rap albums, this project is the exact reverse: 98.2% skits, 1.8% music.

Written and performed with a passion and love for comedy, The Skitstape Volume 1 is the first installment in a series of audio-based sketch comedy albums by comedian Rogier Bak. Produced by Humorist Audio.

A comedian and actor from Amsterdam, Rogier asked himself years ago what his dream job would be, and the answer remains simple: "to make people laugh." 

With his first project through Humorist Audio, "The Skitstape Vol. 1: The Realist Skits I Ever Wrote" he displays another side of his comedy repertoire that already includes stand-up, improv, writing, and acting. Passionate about pushing his voice in every which way, Rogier loves shaping as many characters as possible through use of different vocal pitches, accents, and inflections.
