Motek Music is a transatlantic electronic music label launched in 2014 with bases both in the US and the UK. With their third compilation they present the first Journeys series, where they will showcase the talents from selected parts of the globe. This compilation focused on US, showcasing the strength of the country’s underground scene with 12 tracks that cover a mix of melodic deep house and tougher dance floor focused tech house and techno sounds. 

This time we have a song with some smooth vibes, some groove and a nice techy-side from Martin Aquino [Akbal] & Ryan Pamatmat, both coming from the West Coast of the US, San Franscisco. 

Martin’s obsession with the music and his sound naturally led to music production. Since 2011, he’s already recorded well-received singles for labels like Resopal Schallware, One Records, District Raw, Surface and Akbal Music. Martin’s production, while riding the border between house and techno, keeps a leg deep in the sound of the underground. He strives for music that is organic and eclectic while still rawly effective in the nightclub.

Being signed to labels such as Bass Works Recrodings Japan, System Recordings, Asia Music and Celestial Recordings to name a few, Ryan’s productions have gained support from greats such as John Digweed, Luciano and Terry Francis to name a few and has had numerous radio plays and reviews across the globe. His debut release on Plastic City with Pav Parrotte entitled, "Jog On! EP" was one of the highlights of his career as a producer in 2013.
