The Hit N Run intro jam... Getting Started, recorded in the Hit N Run home studio eons ago and sampling an introduction and crowd scream as Hit N Run took to the stage one by one spitting this track at one of the best shows they did.  Rogue's hard edge gritty production on the work... All these years later the end of the track "the business end of ----- can turn your friends against you" is still missing the Hit N Run sample we had chopped from Snoop's verse on Bitch Please 2 is still missing and the sample at the end from Dr Dre never fit well and was ultimately cut in the master copy of this song(with the snoop sample) which is hiding on a storage drive somewhere, so once it is unearthed this lower quality copy will be replaced... till then enjoy!

In early summer 2020, the world was shut down and our bodies were isolated from dancing joyfully alongside each other… Pink Pony Clubs in West Hollywood were a mere fantasy that a then-unknown queer pop artist named Chappell Roan longed for in song lyrics from her musical debut on the world stage. Fast forward three years and the world has reopened; “Pink Pony Club” became Vulture’s “Song of the Summer 2021,” a real Pink Pony Club debuted in the queer village at Burning Man in 2022, and Chappell Roan is now readying for the release of her first full-length studio album (and upcoming tour) in September 2023. In homage to one of the greatest new artists on the verge of superstardom, we present our dance floor take on this iconic queer AF anthem. The Hair, The Clothes, The Drugs, The Music. This is the real Underground music scene very few know about.

80s DJ Part 1 [1980-1983]: Boogie & Post-Disco

100% 80's records.  (1981-1983)

Across the USA a new DJ sound was evolving, Graffitti, breaking, rapping. DJ Like Grandmaster Flash and the like were mega-stars of a new style of music. 

This is a not a Rap Mix, but more of an Electro mix. Focused on the sounds and beats of the time, less about the lyrics. Bouncing Ghetto Music to make you rock. 

Mixing isnt perfect. If you love the bouncy legit 80's electro this is a tribute to the sound and tempo. 50 mins of some of my favs from this era.

80's DJ Part 2 [1981-1983]: 100% Rock Steady

Rogue is a dynamic DJ/turntablist, producer & artist... Capable of catering to various niches and age brackets.

Today Rogue wears many hats!  As a DJ, Rogue can cater to any crowd... Hip Hop, Trap, EDM, Moombahton, Downtempo/Lounge, Pop... and excels at 90's and 2000's parties!  Whatever keeps the dancefloor moving wether it be 60 people or 2000.  All with a style uncommon in the region as he works the Turntable like a forgotten martial art.

Rogue started out as skratch dj and rapper in a golden era of hip hop rocking house parties.  Rogue eventually moved into production and promotions where he was instrumental in growing hip hop and dj culture in Northern Ontario.  At a time when businesses wanted nothing to do with hip hop and quality djs Rogue was one of the most significant and driving forces in opening previously closed doors to hip hop artists and djs at his own expense.

Rogue is currently developing a couple of projects the first being a Lounge/instrumental album/video series combining his love for music, DJ skills and his newer passion for creating films... He is also currently developing beats for general sale, posting club mixes and after many years working on an emcee project! Keep a look out for the Indiegogo development campaign!!

Background:

Rogue put Thunder Bay and Northern Ontario on the national radar in the 90's by hosting the DMC International DJ Championships regionally offering our region an outlet to the rest of the scene worldwide.  As the years progressed along with fellow emcee Mohammad Escrow developing foundations that helped notable artists from the region grow with some gaining recognition outside the region. The two pushed the scene to new heights with their Hip Hop crew Hit N Run with Kasper, Low Lux and Neilly Neil and their work with Loffredo & Associates in developing activities that have contributed to shaping the entire club and entertainment scene in the region.  After a break Rogue returned to the scene spinning at the hot spot in the region of at the time Crocks - Thunder Bay and joined the Beatfarm family as their DJ.

Rogue has amassed an unprecedented event resume throughout his career as a Dj and artist.  As a promoter and event organizer Rogue has been in critical roles in 100's of events from club parties and local concerts to events for artists as big as Motorhead & G-unit.

Rogue along with DJ Dystrakted and DJ Ghost competed as the Audio Assault Force in the 2006 DMC National Team Championships taking 3rd place.  Rogue also placed 2nd in the local solo DMC DJ event in a close contest with partner DJ Ghost.

Rogue solidified his return in the Thunder Bay scene as a dynamic Dj capable of spinning any style when he won the judges and crowd votes in the 2014 Tbay's Next Big DJ Comp.
