Humanoid is written in retrospect and the protagonist is weighing whether his action of buying pleasure or sex will cause his demise. He consoles himself in the fact that at least he is better than all the lonely humanoids who may not experience the pleasure he is atleast able to buy.

About this "Ambient Dub" project:
Inspired by the music beautifully produced by my friend Lopaire https://soundcloud.com/lopaire-2 , spent endless summer nights digging deeper into my "Ambient Dub" repertoire for this project. Asked our friend James a.k.a JayGee03 https://soundcloud.com/jaygee03 for his collaboration on this project. After almost 20 years with this project on my mind, it's finally brought to life! Thank you James for your enthusiastic collaboration! Your mixing skill, technique & experience are greatly appreciated! Most importantly, no incidents occurred in this project! I hope not! Hahaha

Easy Everybody........This is most of the set that I played at Ibitha Reggae Festival, recorded from memory a week later in my home........It was a lovely warm Island evening. The place was full of Reggae love and good vibes...............This is a pretty good representation of what I currently like to play in a peak time set. The first two tunes will be  familiar to anyone who's heard 'The Reggae Roast Minimix" but after that, it's all new.

To play a main room set at  AMNESIA HOUSE's 30 anniversary was truly a landmark moment for me , A personal achievement that i struggle to put into words really ,It  was a very proud time in my musical journey, I remember attending their first early AH parties from 88 ,Looking up at the dj box , Hoping one day , I would be playing alongside some of those djs who we hold in high regard for helping to shape our scene  , The history of AH stretches way back to the beginning  ,And those that know ,know how much their involvement means to so many,How they dispite the obstacles , helped form a platform for the scene to grow into what we have now  ,And the struggles they faced with the authorities in the early days to get the parties on !. 

 AH brought different people together , from all walks of life,All cultures,All Areas , All colours ..together under one roof,They  changed the course of life for many people along the way .. 

Their contribution to help forge a path to where we are now is unquestionable , And there historical parties are forever eched in Rave History ..

 i'm proud to be playing a small part   🙏🏽💓....

What a nite this was at the Empire,Coventry!, It was called  'A Celebration of rave' ,And it certainly was  !!

To bang out a set out alongside one my biggest inspirations of the rave scene in Man Parris ,in my birth City , for Amnesia House,will be a cherished memory, I've been full circle ,and i'm so glad i can now share this set with you now,..feel free to share and/or leave a comment,crank it up and Enjoy! ;0)

Shock C Live at Amnesia House 'Celebrating 30 Years Of Rave'

Began to DJ in 1990 in Cardiff for a reggae nite, playing dub reggae and world music.  George if you are out there, please get in touch -amazin girl!  

Returned to Walsall in 1992, hooked up with Chu and was initiated into Roguetropaz.  Chu did all my artwork and introduced me to Splosh Soundsystem.  And thanks also to Meek, the Bottom Bunk was formed bringing eclectic soundz to the underbelly of the boat parties on the River Severn in Worcester.  

In the early days we were a soundsystem and used MC's, percussionists and Cubase technology,  introducing 'live' eclectic beats to a fragmented 90's rave culture.  

Became resident for Atomic Jam at the Que club Birmingham in 1994, and created the Melting Pot in room two.  Played next to many of the biggest names in dance music and was invited to guest DJ for many different nights at the Que club, notably Logical Progression and Third Eye at the Dance Factory. Even took on the Que club myself in 1995, and promoted a night called 'Freestyle Funk' wherein 'Jam Jah Man' were the headline live act.

In 1995 Chu and myself organised an exhibition at the Custard Factory in Birmingham called 'Graffiti Bastards'.  Chu is a talented artist, and I had links with many record labels, thanks to Harvey at Zzonked and Clean Up Records.

Most proud of having been part of 'All Systems Go'.  Thanks again to Splosh Soundsystem.
