I was super stoked when I got the track back from Alex. Nothing could have emphasised the dystopian mood better than his distinctive guitar sound. I still get goosebumps every time the first solo kicks in. And nothing could have been more fitting than these scenes from Blade Runner to build a visual mood around it. "Stratos" is my 1st release of 2025, and my first original track since "Relics" in July of 2023. The project was started on November 25th of 2023, and production took just under 9 hours. All production, mixing, and mastering was done by me.
This is the first time I've featured vocal samples/chops in my tracks in quite some time, and I really like how it turned out. The synth that comes in at the end of every 4-bar section was especially fun to make, and really gives this track its atmospheric touch.
