The Italian duo of Noha and Alex Tea have been crafting intricate club ready weapons for quite some time and have collaborated on many releases, most notably on Noha’s Panick Panick! Imprint. The connection stretches back much further as the two artists have been friends for many years with the first Pathagonia release “Chi Ci Pensa“ EP landing on the aforementioned label. From there, the direction has been set between the dancefloor and the stars and everywhere in between as their output has graced the vinyl sleeves of lauded imprints such as Yoyaku and Visionquest with much more top shelf music in the works.

Further cementing their more direct approach to the dancefloor, Pathagonia are straight out of the box with a slew of tightly woven peak time house bits. Angular basslines, crisp percussion and lush soundscapes are put to excellent use here. If you are looking for an insistent soundtrack, Pathagonia have this exceedingly well covered. Never letting the energy levels drop below that of a low boil, the Italians are on fire from the first beat to the last.

For its 20th release, Daydream is thrilled to present the debut EP of the brilliant stbr - one half of the duo submod. The talented Leipzig-based artist delivers four massive tracks with irresistible groove and deep rolling sounds to create a super classy record.

Bologna based beatmaker Umberto strikes hot on his 320kb Music label to kick start his 2025. The “Dream Without Sleeping” EP is bubbling with refined flavours as the Italian producer showcases four dynamic moods spread across four underground cuts. 

The hypnotic “Lazy Diamond” track leads the way with introspective vocal samples, and a chugging forward motion. Teasing the dancefloor with the seductive motions as it develops. The stripped back sounds of “Sundance” spread a warm charm throughout the after party environment with shimmering synths, and meticulously arranged drums, which are not to be underestimated. On the flip side of the 12” Umberto prepares a certain hit with the tastemakers in the form of his “Losing My Mind” track. Punchy from the get go, allowing the distinct cinematic energy to simmer, ready to make an impact on the most discerning of dancefloors in 2025 and beyond. The EP closes with a quirky number named “About My D!#k”, wandering between the fine lines of trippy and transcending. A minimalist touch to this dynamite EP. 

Umberto’s decades of experience mean there is no surprise this EP packs a serious punch, and he sets his grips firmly on a huge 2025 with his solo projects, and all other music endeavours. Stay close as you won’t want to miss a thing!
