Deep as Chopkra is part of Fleetstreet, an album that emerged from a month-long residency at the Fleetstreet Theater in Hamburg. Over the course of that month, the trio — Lujo Asiático (Andrés Serantes and Segundo Bercetche, aka Primeiro), Chasys (Ariel Schlinter), and Koiwa (Cristian García Laborde) — met daily to record, explore, and improvise together.
Hours upon hours of sessions slowly accumulated, forming a dense archive of material that was later edited and distilled into seven final tracks. What began as sprawling one-hour pieces was gradually condensed into concentrated five-minute forms — sonic fragments sculpted through collective listening and reduction. Around seven additional tracks were left out of the album, remaining as resonances of the process rather than completed pieces.
