John Parsley is a Swiss artist from Zurich. He discovered his love of music many years ago, as a drummer in rock bands, then later with the first MPC sampler, his fondness of TripHop and electronic music.  Today he produces mainly electronic music across the full spectrum. Apart from playing as Dub and Roots Reggae DJ, he has never worked as a DJ.  He devotes himself chiefly and continuously to production. With this he is always looking for new ways to lend his feelings expression in music.  Sometimes sombre, sometimes trancelike rhythmical but always in his own style.  From House to Tribe music, in addition dark TripHop and  driven dancefloor killers, he does not let himself be caught up in any one genre.  He does what he feels like doing and what he loves doing. With recurring releases on labels such as NEIN, Sulk Magic, Lustpoderosa or Roam Records he proves over and over again that his music convinces, without  huge social media presence  or his having to move within the night life scene. He feels most at home in understatement.  What pleases him most is when he is recognized by his music.

Starborough has been involved in the Westcoast Sound of Holland scene around Cybernetic Broadcasting System and IntergalacticFM for almost 20 years, organising parties, hosting radioshows and running the now defunct Radio Galaxia channel for IntergalacticFM. With his broad selection of classic house, electro and disco tracks he rocked dancefloors in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, The Hague and Dordrecht. He played online for Rotterdam's Operator Radio, Amsterdam's Red Light Radio, Nijmegen's Radio NUL and most importantly: IntergalacticFM. Starborough’s carefully constructed deejaysets combine the swing of soul and funk with the mechanical push of house and electro, with some Italian melancholy thrown in for good measure.

"Fun Colors" Guest Mix: Jay Starborough

Birds is the musical project of UK born, Netherlands based DJ Katie Wilkinson. Her music is melting pot of techno, 90s acid, electro and 80’s EBM and New Wave, with her more recently material also incorporating more bass heavy sounds. She has released on labels such as Höga Nord, Ombra International, NEIN, Freeride Millennium, Hard Fist and Samo Records before founding her own label Feed The Void, a label which aims to showcase her eclectic tastes. She has also received a lot of love for for her captivating live sets.

As a DJ, as well as through her music she exercises a never ending desire to explore sonic possibility and switch up genres continuously. Her sets reflect these curiosities and have an extremely transcendent nature to them; you never know whether you'll find yourself dancing to churning low tempo industrial techno, high tempo acid bass lines, Italo, experimental breaks or something far and between these things. Nothing is too weird or intense for a Birds DJ set. She has a monthly radio show on Netil Radio which is a residency that she's had for the past five years.
