it’s been little while since I uploaded a live set last time.

┋Doob & Janoma (Grenzenløs/Berlin) presents Afterhour Sounds Podcast Nr.86┋

Heute haben wir zwei junge Künstler für euch, die uns besonders ans Herz gewachsen sind. Doob & Janoma leben im quirligen Berlin und haben sich über Ihr gemeinsames Studium kennengelernt. 

Im Januar 2015 haben die beiden dann auf Einladung unseres Member Mitglieds Elektro Uwe dessen ersten sound(ge)cloud Podcast zusammen in Nürnberg live eingespielt. Dies war der erste gemeinsame Auftritt und der Beginn einer tiefen musikalischen Freundschaft. Die zweite Station war dann auch gleich die legendäre Räuberhöhle auf der Fusion mit einem grandiosen 5 Stunden Set … was für eine Abfahrt … wir waren Live dabei. Es folgten diverse gemeinsame Auftritte, wo auch ein fantastischer Easy-Podcast für Elektroaktivisten entstanden ist oder der massive Live-Mittschnitt aus dem Keller, den wir veröffentlichen durften.
 
Aber die beiden haben es auch als einzelne DJ-Persönlichkeiten mehr als drauf … das zeigen die zahlreichen Podcasts für Gedankenklang, OpenAirtogo oder Tiger Rag und natürlich nicht zu vergessen die beiden Live-Mitschnitte aus ihrem Lieblings-Club Sisyphos.
 
Vom Sound her sind die beiden äußerst flexibel. Mal überraschen sie mit einem ethno-easy-downtempo Mix --- aber sie verstehen es auch hochenergetisch nach vorne zu gehen - und das Ganze immer mit ihrer entspannten Doob & Janoma Leichtigkeit. 

Für unsere Nr. 86 haben die beiden sich mächtig ins Zeug gelegt und ein ganz besonderes Set gebastelt. Andi und Janosch vielen Dank für diese zweistündige Klangwelt. Und nun liebe Zuhörer: Ohren auf und abtauchen.

Ahoi.

»Ein Fuchs muss tun was ein Fuchs tun muss.« und so strolcht er in den Tiefen der weiten, musikalischen Wäldern umher, erschrickt ab und an die wilden Hühner vom Bauern oder lässt sich jagen, doch nur nicht erwischen. Ein schlauer Fuchs ist eben auch kein Rudeltier und macht es sich somit immer mal wieder allein in seinem Fuchsbau gemütlich. Dort hört er die Musik die er so liebt; die Musik, verspielt und tief von Unten heraus, denn so ein Mix muss fett (frei zitiert nach den Füchsen von irgendwelchen Beginner’n) ;) … ja, da fragt ihr euch zurecht: was hat der Käpt’n https://soundcloud.com/rolandson denn da bloss wieder geraucht? und was labert der kauzig, bärtige Typ denn da? … nun, dann will ich euch das gerne mal erklären; denn in so einem Fuchsbau, da ist es wie in einer urigen Kapitäns-Kajüte, es muss muckelig warm sein, es muss immer ausreichend Gin gelagert sein und es muss Musik laufen. Mir erschienen auf einmal all seine seltsamen Gewohnheiten, die bei den Leuten Unverständnis und Spott hervorriefen - seine Verträumtheit, seine Neigung zur Einsamkeit, seine Schweigsamkeit -, in einem anderen Licht. Ich wusste jetzt, warum er abendlang auf dem Wachthügel saß, warum er die Nächte einsam am Fluß verbrachte, warum er ständig nur ihm wahrnehmbaren Klängen nachlauschte und warum seine Augen zuweilen aufloderten und die Brauen sich plötzlich erwartungsvoll hoben. Das war ein Mensch, der eine tiefe Liebe in sich trug. Keine Liebe, das fühlte ich, wie man sie für einen anderen empfindet, sondern eine weit größere, die Liebe zum Leben, zur Erde.
