A mix of a new song about life and death and how life goes on despite grievances and loss of friends and family. Recorded in Cubase 13 using Steven Slate Drums as a drum module for my TD-9 V-Drums kit. Tonex guitar amp sim and Hammond B3X from IK Multimedia. Percussion by Skaka (Klevgrand).

All instruments and vocals performed by yours truly. (PS. I am no drummer, and it shows 😅)

Am I in your way

A slow and very naked arrangement of a song about loss and sorrow, and an adapted English translation of my Norwegian song "Der tårer danner bekk". Piano is played by me on a controller MIDI Keyboard using Modartt Pianoteq 8 as my sound module and Audiofront MIDIExpression I/0 for variable sustain/sustenoto pedals.

Where tears flow

A song in Norwegian mixing styles in a disco music related landscape. Arranged and orchestrated by me at Mikrobryggeriet lydproduksjon. Recording and quick mix in Cubase 14. Mastered in Wavelab 12.

Du (Synthasia slight return)

A cover version arranged by me and recorded in my basement. Drums are from the Superior Drummer Songwriters pack 3. Bass and guitars are played using a guitar and the Roland VG-99. I use V-Picks Nexus ghost picks.

SY-300 Strings

Guitar and vocals for Norwegian blues/rock band Square One and Compagniet, Notodden.

Picked up the guitar at the age of 13. First influences were Bill Haley and the Comets and Carl Perkins. My family only owned one tape recorder and a collection of 6 MCs back then. Had some records, but the record player was broken. 

Later influences were Jimi Hendrix, Iron Maiden, Chet Atkins, S.R.V and many, many others. 

Love trying to play music from most genres. Always been fascinated by electronics, synthesizers, effects and what make things tick. 

Remember: Music is a social experience not a sport. Everyone's entitled to participate.
