KHA023 marks the first release of 2025 on Khazad Records and we are thrilled to welcome Eubo to the Khazad family.

Eubo is an up-and-coming Glasgow based artist. A self-labelled groove enthusiast, he has already established his own distinctive sound of rolling yet heavy drumlines which instantly caught our attention.

This EP is is gritty and dirty, but with refined elements of repetitive rolling percussive rhythms and interjected with catch and well-crafted vocal chants and reese bass stabs throughout. This all helps to give the sense of a constant forward movement of energy.

Alongside the five original tracks, is a crushing remix of the title track from Patrick DSP. Through the introduction of crisp yet un-relenting mid-range drums and a harsh adaptation of the vocal chant, Patrick adds his distinctive touch and huge energy to this great remix.

Synthetik Sounds Unveils Star-Studded Compilation to Support LA Fire Relief Efforts

Los Angeles, CA – January 27, 2025 – Los Angeles techno label Synthetik Sounds is proud to announce the release of a powerful 39-track Various Artists compilation featuring an extraordinary lineup of global techno talent. In a time of urgent need, 100% of proceeds from the compilation will be donated to LA Fire Relief Funds, supporting communities affected by the devastating wildfires that created havoc in the Los Angeles area in January 2025.

In January 2025, the Palisades and Eaton wildfires in Los Angeles County burned over 37,000 acres, destroyed more than 16,000 structures, caused at least 29 fatalities, and led to the evacuation of over 200,000 residents, affecting many in the underground techno and house community in our city.
When we asked artists to contribute to a V/A release to help our community, we found ourselves overwhelmed by the amount of support we received.

This monumental release unites over 40 cutting-edge artists, all contributing their signature sounds to this meaningful cause. From techno veterans to rising stars, the compilation is a showcase of boundary-pushing artistry and the unity of the electronic music community.

HiTrash is actively connected with the Polish electronic scene since 2010. DJ and producer, creator and brain of the 'TECHNO TECHYES' Cracowian event series, privately the soul-man. HiTrash is a watch and a lively Excel & thanks to this all the events that he organizes are always buttoned up.

Co-organizer of a non-profit charity festival 'DJland', organizer of the music portal 'Elektroniczny Kraków' and creator of the 'Laboratorium Elektroniki' project, which aims to promote electronic music and support Polish artists during the pandemic times.

Musically, he reaches for progressive & spatial techno that maintains a great balance between being technical and dancing. HiTrash's rule is the 'fast but hard' and 'life begins at 140' principle. This can be expected in the mixes as well as music productions.
