Years of history with Hospital Records, as well as being a frequent certified vibe bringer to Hospitality shows over the years, mean the south London drum & bass imprint is the perfect home for his highly anticipated standalone release, which features collaborations with; Royalston, Voltage, Makoto, Danny Byrd, Bop x Subwave, S.P.Y and Winslow.

With such a wealth of experience in the game, Dynamite MC is no stranger to laying down top-shelf vocals no matter what the tempo or style. A genuine master of his craft, controlling the mic and supplying unbeatable vibes is what he does best, and when he’s not shredding up the stage, you’ll be able to find Dynamite living out the other side of his dual life as a sommelier at London’s Michelin starred Clove Club. Since starting his career in the early 90s on pirate radio station Crush FM, he’s won Best MC at the 2015 Drum&BassArena Awards, racked up consistent longstanding support from tastemakers such as Annie Mac and MistaJam and even had his own ‘Smooth Grooves’ radio show on Kiss 100. More recently he teamed up with DRS for a collaborative album ‘Playing In The Dark’, released on Hospital Records in 2020. With a breathtaking collection of collaborations, features and performances under his belt, Dynamite continues to lead the way into the new generation of drum & bass.

What started out as a brainstorm of roughly 800 drum & bass track titles now makes up the conceptual ‘Under The Influence’, a unique and nostalgic trip through Visionobi’s influences from fan to MC.

With the array of track names making up a 64-bar verse, it was Visionobi’s intention to create something personal but relevant to the whole scene, whilst highlighting his dexterity as a lyrics man.

Choosing to call upon production duo Gerra & Stone to create the beat was an obvious choice, with his relationship with the pair extending back to early MCing days. The hugely engaging video comes courtesy of production company Family Creative, which is run by two of Visionobi’s closest friends.

Inja’s back with partner-in-crime Pete Cannon on ‘War Games’. A funky bassline lays the foundations for this fear-fighting tale. As the breaks roll out Inja’s militant and deep rhetoric puts this track on a new level, with signature percussive flair from the sought after hip-hop beatmaker.

Inja’s spoken-word piece for Amnesty International ‘She Just Wanna Dance’ was a viral online hit in 2017. It’s now been given a turbo-charged re-work by Med School young-gun Whiney. Inja’s poignant commentary on the prolific problem of harassment in club culture sits atop a grimey half-time stepper that switches up into a lethal upfront roller.

Inja proves he can ‘juk’ any riddim in ‘Samurai’. Serum’s steppy beat and woofing bassline balances Inja’s story of the samurai; slicing through the tune like the lyrical sensei he is.
