Rolling Eclectic is introducing a monthly mix series called Rolling Selectors! To serve all deep dnb heads some much needed crisp sounds through these never ending trying times. Tune in every last Friday of the month for a new mix from our team or a special guest. Starting off this month with a high paced mix from our very own Sam Fischer aka Ronin!

Rolling Selectors 005 - mod

We're very excited to announce the next artist joining our growing list of Rolling Selectors contributors. Give it up for MΛN! 

Based in Leiden, and best known for her deep, dark and experimental sound MΛN always brings something exciting to the table. 

The development of her sound has paved the way for her very own event, known as Vortex Music which has a focus on all sides of experimental electronic bass music. 

After smashing her opening set during our two year anniversary we didn't think twice about asking her to do a mix for this series. 

Filled to the brim with the darkest sounds taken from the deepest depths of the drum and bass spectrum. This heavy weight mix shows that MΛN doesn't mess about. 

Take a dive and immerse yourself in this bass heavy exploration of the genre we all love so much.

Rolling Selectors 006  - MΛN

As our next event partnered with none other than Overview Music is coming up. We felt it only right to invite Mr. Overview himself allowing him to showcase the true sound of the label. 

Peter Piper AKA Energy has kindly blessed us with an hour long quick fire mix playing blend after blend. This mix is bound to get you excited for what we've got planned for all of you this October, when not only Energy himself but a stacked lineup of other Overview artists will be coming over to our homebase at De Helling in Utrecht to remind everyone why Overview is one of the most exciting labels around in our scene at this moment.

Rolling Selectors 007 - Energy

As the darker days are closing in and Fall is showing itself more and more, it's about time to submit ourselves to the darkness once again, and in what better fashion than to be engulfed by the heavy beats of our next instalment of the Rolling Selectors series, this time provided by rising dutch talent VOXI! 

VOXI has been busy establishing herself as a true force in the drum & bass scene over the past time. 

Already proving her talents on several occasions, playing at Liquicity Festival, Neurofu*k and taking to the stage at Blackout soon as well! 

Seamlessly mixing together the heaviest with the funkiest that deep drum & bass has to offer, this 30 minute mix of mayhem gives you a clear glimpse in VOXI her talents and confirms that she is a force to be reckoned with. Don't sleep on her!

Rolling Selectors 008 - VOXI

For the next installment of the Rolling Selectors series, we've invited our good friend Creek to showcase his talents! 

If you've been around the Dutch dnb scene for a while, there's a good chance you've either heard of Creek or have been to an event that he's involved in. For the past several years, Creek has been a key person in the deeper dnb scene, working on events like Tribe down in Breda and also being a big part of the highly successful organisation Curated By, both of which have been personal favourites for us to visit over the past years and still very much are! 

On top of this Creek also frequently happily showcases his skills behind the decks, you can hear the jungle and Bristolian influences run deep in this mans love for the genre. 

If you're in the mood for an hour of some of the recent sounds from our much loved genre being mixed with an effortless feeling, this is the mix for you!

Rolling Selectors 009 - Creek

The new year is here, and there is no better way to start it off than with another Rolling Selectors mix. We are very proud to present our next guest: Omin!

Hailing from Budapest, this man is no newcomer to the scene. Being part of Filth Company, Omin has been blessing the scene with his Deep, Dark and Techy sound since 2011. 
Omin has been organizing 'The Hive' in Budapest since 2016 and is very proud to showcase their sound with us today. So buckle up for 50 minutes of crazy Hungarian dubs and techy sounds.
Omin is an RITD personal favourite and has already played at one of our events. We are very happy to have him do the tenth Rolling Selectors. Hope you guys enjoy the mix as much as we did!

Rolling Selectors 010 - Omin

For our next Rolling Selectors we have none other than Leniz! Give it up!

You might know him as the co-founder of Differential, or from your visits to Liquicity festival, but you should know one thing for sure: He prepared a killer of a mix for you all.

While being mostly known for his Liquid productions, his DJ sets show a more diverse style and this mix is just an example of that. Therefore we are very excited and happy for Leniz's contribution to Rolling Selectors so we suggest you kick back and get ready for one hour of bangers!

Rolling Selectors 011 - Leniz

Another month, another addition to our Rolling Selectors mix series! With a very special one coming to you all this time, in the form of a B2B mix between hard hitting Rolling resident Ronin and rising dutch artist Rayven Lux! 

We all know our trusted resident Ronin as the fast paced, double dropping dj that he is. Always finding the most interesting combinations of sounds that takes any track he plays to a whole new level. He provided the first entry in our mix series and it's amazing to see how much one can still expand in their craft after such a long time behind the decks already! 

Joining Ronin for this mix is rising dutch talent Rayven Lux! She recently started a new chapter in her life as a drum & bass DJ/producer. Several years ago, she started out with UK Bass and garage but recently turned back to her old love for drum & bass! Influenced by many UK sounds, she's known to offer a variety of sounds, reaching from to soulful liquid and neurofunk bangers. 

These two artists with their varied sounds combined have provided an eclectic set, having been able to effortlessly combine all sounds for this mix.

Rolling Selectors 012 - Ronin & Rayven Lux

While the long-awaited summer is finally slowly starting to show itself, we got a killer mix for you all to alleviate the pain of the long wait. For the next Rolling Selectors we got none other than Auris!

This Amsterdam based, jazz influenced Drum and Bass producer has shown his colours many times in the Drum and Bass scene. Playing at well-known events like High Tea and Liquicity. Although his awesome productions are more on the side of liquid Drum and Bass, he was not afraid to step things up for an OG Rolling in the Deep mix!

We strongly encourage you to check out the silky, relaxing music made by this talented producer. But for now, enjoy this Rolling Selectors #013 hosted by Auris!

Rolling Selectors 016 - Lazlo & Systemic

Since we just got out of 'No-bad-tune-November' we decided to surpass your expectations for this Rolling Selectors. We are very happy to announce the biggest artist and producer we have had over for a mix up till now: Lavance!

This Belgian madlad has got it all. From silky mixing to PHAT bass design. With releases on 1985, Sofa Sound Bristol and Onyx Recordings, it is fair to say this man has established his position as a GREAT producer within the Deep Drum and Bass scene. Check out his music if you haven't already!

Being a good friend and frequent visitor of the Rolling events, Lavance was happy to deliver this banger of a mix for you all and we are super grateful for this. We hope you will be just as delighted as we were, when listening to this diverting mix.

Rolling Selectors 018 - SÆNDO

There it is! A brand new Rolling Selectors mix. This time, hosted by none other than Hidden Circuit! 

After his partner made an awesome Rolling Selectors mix and decimated the decks at one of our events, Hidden Circuit decided he should show us some of his skills as well. As a long time member of the dnb community, as well as resident at Soul Patrol, Hidden Circuit is well known in the Dutch DnB scene. You can catch him on the decks at the upcoming liquicity summer festival. But before that, enjoy this preview of what this man can do!

Rolling Selectors 019 - Hidden Circuit

Rolling Selectors is back with another great mix! Get ready for the next DJ: Adi-J.

Although she is used to killing the decks on a Monday as a resident at Cheeky Monday, she is not shy to provide us with a sick mix any day! Adi-J has been around in the Dutch Drum and Bass scene for a long time and we are glad to have her do one of her cool mixes for us. Big thanks for Adi-J. We hope you enjoy as much as we did!

Rolling Selectors 020 - Adi-J

Penny is a DJ, vocalist / songwriter, and producer from the South of England. First discovered by Yamatai Records for her strong passion for the deeper darker side of minimal Drum & Bass. This shows through in Penny’s mixing style keeping in dark but yet energetic with her track selection and switch ups.  

She has Co-founded new label Kengai Records and aids in label management. Penny has also been involved with the likes of Inovate Collective, Crossroads Records & Blender Collective events. 


Penny has started a new podcast called Deep Dissonance which will start broadcasting through Data Transmission this year. Where she will be showcasing underground tracks, creating a platform for guest mixes, speaking with artists & labels about their journey and how mind & music interact with each other.  

She has been focusing on songwriting & vocals in the background, collaborating with various producers to home in on her sound. Alongside learning music production we look forward to hearing her work soon.

State of Unrest & B-Side bossman Yorick grew up immersed in the energetic world of Old School DnB and Gabber, Yorick's passion for music was inevitable. He channelled this passion into organising his own DnB events, like 'State of Unrest' and 'B-Side,' making a name for himself in the scene. Although Yorick initially preferred working behind the scenes, his natural progression led him to DJing and Rataplan was born! 

Rataplan—a Dutch word meaning "chaos" or a "mischievous crowd"—perfectly encapsulates the vibe of his sets. Each performance is a journey, where dark and minimal steppers, rollers and gangster beats build up into a thrilling, unpredictable experience. With eerie storylines and unexpected twists, Rataplan's sets keep you on edge, never quite sure where you'll land. So if you're looking for qualitative deep, dark vibes, mixed with vocals and tempo changes, Rataplan delivers a sound that's as unpredictable as it is unforgettable.
