Khidja is not a DJ group, but rather a duo of electronic music producers from Romania, consisting of Andrei Rusu and Florentin Tudor. They have been making music together since 2011 and have gained a reputation for their unique and innovative sound, which draws inspiration from a wide range of musical styles, from jazz to industrial, post punk to techno. 

Khidja's music is characterized by its hypnotic rhythms, intricate textures, and eclectic mix of analog and digital sounds. 

Khidja has released music on a number of respected electronic music labels, including DFA Records, Malka Tuti, and Hivern Discs. They have also remixed tracks for artists such as Red Axes, Billy Cobham, Man Jumping or Plus Instruments.

In addition to their work as producers, Khidja are also highly regarded as DJs, known for their eclectic and unpredictable sets that blend together a wide range of musical genres and styles. They have played at clubs and festivals across Europe and beyond, including Panorama Bar in Berlin, Nuits Sonores in Lyon, and Dekmantel in Amsterdam.

Overall, Khidja is a duo of talented and innovative electronic music producers who have made a significant impact on the contemporary dance music scene. Their music is highly regarded by critics and fans alike, and they continue to push the boundaries of electronic music with their unique sound and vision.

For this special mix, Khidja has selected the BMW 850 CSi, a high-performance grand tourer produced from 1992 to 1996. The 850 CSi boasts a powerful 5.6-liter V12 engine that can produce up to 380 horsepower, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 6 seconds. To come ‘Full Circle’ is to travel the path and arrive back at the point you think you left from.

Full Circle, also known as Alexis Le-Tan (Wonders Ovze World) and Joakim (Tigersushi, Crowdspacer), a long term project with close friends Le-Tan and Joakim music project and “concept band born from loving ears that want to re-process our electronic past.”

They’ve delivered some amazing edits of obscure Goa tracks and remixed the likes of Die Orangen, 10Lec6, and Tapan and released on Good Morning Tapes and Vladimir Ivkovic’s Offen.

“To complete a journey is to learn and to slow down and re-imagine is to enrich – Full Circle hears the hedonistic sound of the 90’s in a light that reflects a different space for our current time and beyond. Benedikt Frey (@freybenedikt) has been on a journey of musical adventure and exploration over the last 15 years. He has made everything from deepest house to bottomless dub, UK jungle to irresistible edits of Notorious BIG. Those early forays came on labels like Nous'klaer Audio and Hivern Discs but in the years since the German has looked more to industrial and post-punk for inspiration. His Fastlane album on ESP Institute this summer blended those vibes with his own take on techno and resulted in his most accomplished and singular work yet. 

Now, the Lopasura label head steps up with an extra special two-hour mix that peers into the farthest corners of his sound. It is the sort of all-consuming trip that plays out like a mind movie as it works through serval different chapters - some heady and deep, some direct and unsettling, always with great control.
