Here's a tribute I made on Sunday for a great man, the one and only Lou Reed. He's was one of my all time musical hero's. It's a sad time when a person leaves us and moves on to the next life. His music was and always will be a source of inspiration and joy to me and others. One thing is for certain, even though he's left us, his music never will.

R.I.P big guy.

Arno Gonzalez is producing a modern house sound that sometimes ventures into melodic territory close to Electronica, the Angevin artist was first spotted by the Parisian label Missive, then by Timid Records, on which he released his debut album “Encounters”, as well as a number of EPs and remixes...

Today, he is one of the spearheads and leaders of Brique Rouge, David Duriez's label, with whom he is on a mission to perpetuate and reinvent a certain vision of House and Techno music.

With this third album, which marks “the end of innocence”, Arno explodes the codes of his music to better transcend them. We find his inimitable touch, a particular sound that is sometimes minimal, sometimes warm and melodious, a real signature on 13 tracks that tells a real story.

If this is the end of innocence, it's also the beginning of maturity.

Discoholics Anonymous Recordings as a relatively new label are currently making serious ground in the disco house scene. Their 12th release is all set to drop this Friday 19th February and hosts the brilliantly talented French producer Ferdinand Debeaufort. This is the opener and title track "Groovin' In All Directions" which is a compact piece of nostalgic / vintage boogie.
