Having been introduced into the drum and bass community with his debut release for Soulvent Records in February, BMotion now brings his second single to the label. Once again featuring the expressive vocals of Jon Lilygreen, ‘All My Love’ drops on 18th May. 

2014 is turning out to be quite a year for both this talented producer and Soulvent’s developing platform, and this release is another impeccable presentation of work. The A-side ‘All My Love’ is an upbeat and glossily fluid track, BMotion using Lilygreen’s rounded vocals in waves alongside dreamy chord sequences and a series of dynamic drops. 

On the flip comes ‘Reflections’, a beautifully contrasting track full of languid, summery tones. A stripped back yet distinctive introduction captures a simplistic yet resonating guitar and piano riff sequence, before progressing to an emotive climax. Bringing in snatches of rolling vocals and stirring drum patterns (recorded live by BMotion); this is your summer evening soundtrack. 

Beginning to firmly establish his artistic style of production within the scene, this release only highlights his capabilities and reflects Soulvent’s ability to handpick talent.

Having ascended the bass music ranks with startling speed, Rollz is quickly garnering the attention of all the right people with his intricate, emotive and powerful productions. EP opener ‘Alive’ featuring Takura showcases just why there is so much excitement surrounding this thoroughly uncategorizable producer and has been championed as a staple in Knife Party’s sets over the summer. Open on a soft wash of melody and the soulful vocals of Takura, the track’s breakdown unravels into a heavy 4/4 stomp and a splayed bassline that reverberates through the track.
