In a last-ditch effort to destroy Wario before he can break the curse, the Golden Diva has commandeered Shokora's placeholder body. In the time it will take to defeat Wario in the coming duel, Shokora will be able to assemble another body. Once she's beaten here, that's it. The Diva's curse will break, and Shokora will be free! Come on, Wario! You can do it!

The origin of this was I thought about how similar one's imitation of Whitty sounds to the U'rAAHNK sound Kremlings make when you stomp them. I had the incredibly kek idea of making this after I remembered DKC has multiple samples of different vowels, and covering this with that in mind sounded like a lot of fun.

I made this with 64-bit c700 in FL, and made sure to never exceed the 8 voice limit. I'm sure it could be optimized further, though. Anyway, I also quoted Diddy's stage victory theme for this (and some of the mixing decisions are a reference to it as well). Maybe you can guess where.

Yesterday I accidentally made this public for about 10 whole minutes, but because it was 1:00pm none of you people saw it. YOU BLEW IT

Lo-Fight (DKC2 Cover)

I was listening to the SS cover I did of World 07 today, and thought this one instrument in the low end sounded a little iffy, so I thought to go into my files and update that part of the mix. 
However, I ended up getting distracted by the World 10 arrangement I'd made around the same time, because unlike the mix for W7 its FLP started with "World." I started listening to it, and was like "hmm this sounds kinda good. shows promise." 
So, I spent a majority of this morning (yesterday, now*) revamping the hell out of this mix, and now it sounds pretty neat.

Working on this also helped me get more acquainted with Hardcore, so it was a valuable learning experience.

I remade the song in SNES (all-stars inspired) fashion again to sort of give it a more authentic touch.
